    Sheq Adminstrator

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • The SHEQ Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards and procedures, cultivating a culture that prioritizes safety and quality throughout the organization. The objective is to assist the company in complying with current health and safety legislation and regulations, ensuring that comprehensive measures are implemented to safeguard the safety and well-being of all staff members.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • National Diploma and / or Certificate in occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science or Quality Management, or a related field.
    • 1+ years' experience in SHEQ administration within the electronics industry or a similar field.
    • Strong knowledge of safety, health, environmental, and quality management systems and standards relevant Certification in relevant SHEQ disciplines (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, etc.) preferred.

    Responsibilities

    Safety Compliance:

    • Assist with Developing, implementation, and maintaining of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations when required.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Health and Environmental Management:

    • Monitor compliance with health and environmental regulations.
    • Coordinate waste management and sustainability initiatives.
    • Support initiatives promoting employee health and well-being.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Maintain and enhance quality management systems to comply with ISO standards.
    • Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
    • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and metrics.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of SHEQ activities.
    • Assist with information for reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies.

    Training and Awareness:

    • Assist the SHEQ Officer with SHEQ training programs to enhance employee competency.

    Risk Assessment and Management:

    • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
    • Facilitate and lead toolbox talks.

    Compliance and Legal Requirements:

    • Stay informed on SHEQ legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Assist company with compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Assist with review and / or compiling of safe operating procedures.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Review service procedures to ensure SHE practices are applied.
    • Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints, and ill health cases.
    • Assist company with emergency procedures and act as on-site coordinator.
    • Write safety reports, bulletins, and newsletters.
    • Ensure SHEQ documents through the Quality Management system.

    Document Controller - SHEQ

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to SHEQ processes, ensuring that documents are up-to-date, accurately organized, and easily accessible for the team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with internal and external standards, regulations, and certification requirements.
    • The Document Controller will work closely with the SHEQ team and other departments to support continuous improvement in SHEQ practices.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Document Control, Administration, Quality Management, or a related field. (advantage)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, preferably within a SHEQ environment or a similar industry.
    • Relevant certifications in document control or quality management (e.g., ISO standards)
    • Computer literate

    Responsibilities

    • Organize, maintain, and control the lifecycle of all SHEQ-related documents, including policies, procedures, training records, permits, certifications, and audits.
    • Ensure documents are stored in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.
    • Regularly schedule documents for review and update to ensure alignment with current SHEQ standards, industry best practices, and legal requirements.
    • Assign document numbers, track revisions, and ensure document approval processes are followed.
    • Conduct periodic audits of the document control system to verify accuracy and completeness.
    • Assist in ensuring all SHEQ documentation is compliant with industry regulations (ISO standards, OSHA, etc.) and company policies.
    • Retrieve and provide documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring accuracy and availability.
    • Work closely with SHEQ team members to gather, update, and distribute SHEQ-related documentation.
    • Support other departments by providing SHEQ documentation as needed for project management, tenders, and client requirements.
    • Act as the main point of contact for document-related inquiries within the SHEQ department.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to the document control process, making suggestions for more efficient document management practices.

    German Speaking Electronic Engineer

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Electronic Engineer with expertise in embedded systems programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design and development, embedded software engineering, and an ability to communicate effectively in German. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing hardware and software solutions for cutting-edge projects in electronics.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering
    • 3 years' experience in electronic engineering design and /or product development
    • Experience with RTOS and Linux-based embedded systems.
    • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded programming and familiarity with assembly language.
    • Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle) and electronic simulation tools.
    • Strong knowledge of microcontroller families (e.g., ARM Cortex, AVR, STM32, or similar).
    • Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
    • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other debugging tools.
    • German Fluency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (native or advanced level).

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, program, and debug embedded systems, including microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and peripheral integration.
    • Collaborate on the design and testing of electronic circuits, PCBs, and prototyping for various applications.
    • Write and optimize low-level firmware to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers and software engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation in German, including specifications, schematics, and user manuals.
    • Perform rigorous testing of hardware and embedded systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
    • Troubleshoot complex issues in hardware and software during development and after deployment.
    • Update Booyco design and technical documentation.
    • Draft, review, update and approve all required documentation for ISO, ISERT, MASC and SANS certification
    • Support and maintain the development technical files.
    • Provide prompt and accurate feedback and support internal and external clients.
    • Draft and update and review weekly technical development reports
    • Conduct site visit to assist with product implementation.
    • Complete Risk Assessment for designed product.
