    Associate - Distribution Planner

    Job Description

    • We are currently on a search for an Associate Distribution Planner to join one of South Africa’s leading appliances manufacturer . The purpose of the role will be optimising the movement of goods from order planning to customer delivery in the most cost-efficient manner. This entails but not limited to inventory management, route planning, stakeholder coordination, order fulfilment and risk management.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Planning deliveries from national/regional warehouses to customers thereby
    • Optimising transport costs and ensuring sales orders are expedited as per customers’ requirements.
    • Customer communication on a daily basis
    • Ensuring that all dedicated vehicles are fully utilized.
    • Ensuring all deliveries are completed timeously.
    • Ensuring customer POD’s are captured at the relevant NDC/Branch
    • Stock counts at financial year-end
    • Reporting to Internal and external customers
    • Ad hoc administration functions

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain.
    • 2- 4 Years experience within a supply chain with a focus on Outbound logistics.
    • Advanced MS Office experience.
    • Excellent communication skills are essential.
    • SAP Experience being a pre-requisite.

    Manager - Production (Cooling Plant)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

    • We are currently seeking a Manager-Production-(Cooling Plant) to join our dynamic team in Ezakheni. 
    • The Manager-Production (Cooling Plant) is responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight of the production plant, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing aligned to business objectives and customer requirements.
    • The role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, workforce performance, and sustainable cost management, while ensuring full compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and labour regulations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Develop and execute the plant manufacturing strategy aligned to company goals.
    • Lead daily operations to deliver on volume, quality, cost and delivery targets.
    • Optimise capacity utilisation and drive OEE improvement.
    • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Lead capital investment, automation and plant optimisation projects.
    • Drive strict cost control across labour, materials, scrap and overheads.
    • Champion a zero-harm safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Lead and develop large, unionised, multi-shift teams.
    • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, Finance and Commercial.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / manufacturing / industrial engineering
    • 8–10 years’ manufacturing experience
    • 2–3 years in senior production leadership
    • Experience managing large teams (1000+ preferred)
    • Strong ISO systems exposure and audit readiness
    • Proven track record in cost control and operational improvement
    • Experience in unionised and multi-shift environments.

    ADVANTAGEOUS:

    • Cooling / refrigeration manufacturing experience
    • Lean Six Sigma certification.

    Senior Specialist - Production Engineer

    Purpose of the Role:

    • Implement and improve production layouts and processes to eliminate waste, boost productivity, reduce costs, and uphold quality standards in Refrigeration manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Optimize production on assembly lines, material flow, and ergonomics.
    • Monthly reports on production line performance
    • Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement projects using lean tools and root cause analysis.
    • ​Manage new product introductions and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
    • Compliance with employment related legislations
    • Optimize manufacturing layouts, workflows, and equipment for fridge assembly lines, reducing cycle times and defects in components like compressors and evaporators.
    • Lead continuous improvement projects using lean principles (e.g., SMED, TPM) and root-cause analysis for issues like yield losses or quality deviations.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
    • 3 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably appliances/refrigeration; proven lean/TPM projects
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, MS Office; analytical mindset, leadership, and union communication

    Senior - Customer Care Executive

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB:  

    • To coordinate a section of the service function efficiently in order to provide superior after sales service to dealers, customers and the sales department in line with regional and national objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Manage the service function effectively to achieve agreed service and sales objectives.
    • Ensure achievement of Field KPI targets set by GCC, including but not limited to NPS, First-Time Fix (FTF), and Turnaround Time (TAT).
    • Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions where required.
    • Authorize and control service partner job allocations and related expenses.
    • Monitor and control the usage and operating costs of company vehicles.
    • Manage spares usage to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock availability.
    • Drive additional sales opportunities through service partners.
    • Act as the key liaison between field technicians and the Quality Assurance team.
    • Provide accurate and timely field feedback to support continuous product quality improvement.
    • Identify recurring issues and collaborate with QA to reduce repeat failures.
    • Provide ongoing product knowledge and technical training to service advisors and service partners/technicians.
    • Support performance management and skills development of field staff.
    • Recruit, onboard, and replace agents and contractors as required to ensure operational continuity

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants should have a qualified artisan certificate and or BSC degree (Mechanical /Electrical engineering)/
    • Qualified Artisans in possession of an appropriate trade test certificate with a Minimum of N.T.C. 3 or equivalent.
    • At least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial position
