    Maintenance Engineer

    Core Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and support maintenance teams in executing and reporting routine maintenance activities,handling repairs of installations, equipment and machinery (for example planned maintenanceprograms, shut-downs, or emergency repairs) to minimize business disruptions caused by break-downs and malfunctions.
    • Monitor the daily inspections of production machines and equipment as well as all electrical devices,power supply circuits, distribution boards, control panels, pumps, lighting systems, air- conditions, firealarm system and spare parts to evaluate requests for repair.
    • Diagnose & report breakdown problems to the department head.
    • Monitor availability and state of maintenance tools, stores and equipment and advise on replacing orordering new equipment and/or tools.
    • Monitor performance of technical service contractors involved in utilities and services operations andimplement corrective actions if necessary.
    • Coach and develop maintenance staff so that repairs and services activities are completed accurately,safely, and on-time.
    • Provide technical advice to maintenance and operations managers with regards to operationalimplications of capital projects implementation.
    • Observe and role model all safety rules applicable on site.

    Academic Background

    • Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
    • Plant Engineering or Maintenance Certification preferred.

    Professional Experience

    • 4+ years work experience of 2 to 4 years in manufacturing plants as Maintenance Engineer, preferablein the consumer goods Industry.
    • Up to 1 year of experience in people management desirable.

    QC In Service Trainee

    In this exciting role you will:

    Flavour Application:

    • You will prepare fragrance applications in different bases meeting the needs of creative and development teams under guidance, and ensure the quality, precision and accuracy thereof. You will act asa point of contact in the lab for specific customer/projects. You will do the administration of sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils. You will perform physical-chemical measurements. You will help in updating andrevising of technicaldocumentation in the department, under supervision. You will conduct preparation of internal bases. You will perform colour matching and recommend dyes as per client request.

    Record and Inventory:

    • You will operate and help maintain standard lab equipment. You will record and communicate results accurately and promptly. You will perform the management of customer base inventories and project submission retained application samples. You will assist in the administration of materials and laboratory organization. You will maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment in accordance with EH&S policies. You will supervise and mentor other junior technician, trainees and others. You will perform stability testing and evaluation

    Technical Support:

    • You will provide technical support to Creation and Development teams, Sales teams and to external customers by applying diverse knowledge. You will solve technical problems in the application of fragrance to product. You will study the stability and physical characteristics of fragrance formulations inproduct base, through physical and olfactory evaluation. You will prepare and/or perform technical talks for internal and external customers. You will network with internal contacts (S&T and other research anddevelopment laboratories) and external contacts (Suppliers and Universities) in order to exchange and update knowledge.

    Your professional profile includes:

    • Require in service training to complete Degree or Higher Education qualification in Chemistry, Pharmacy,Chemical Engineering or similar subject

    Head of Customer Care & Transport - SAMEA Taste & Wellbeing

    Your main  responsibilities:

    Excellence in execution:  

    • Lead the implementation and the delivery of improvement actions and programs already identified in the transport roadmap: 
    • to improve the service levels for on-time deliveries and reduction of complaints and 
    • improve the transportation costs.
    • Identify continuous improvement programs.  
    • Achieve standardisation and harmonisation of organisation and processes (lean & best practices).
    • Increase the automation of processes. 
    • Work in a structured way (root cause analyses, PDCA) with main partners (site transport teams, road hub, GBS, 3PL, 4PL, controlling, warehousing) to improve performance and reduce costs. 
    • Monitor and analyse monthly Indicators related. 
    • Conduct/attend reviews with carriers and logistics service providers. 
    • Support projects and address escalations from customers/sales.

    Project management:  

    • Contribute to the deployment of global and regional transport projects at all regional sites to improve the balance of service level, cost and quality with a specific focus on the Alliance programme (integration of acquired companies) and the Regional Distribution Centre implementation project 
    • Ensure sustainability of implemented actions and projects. 
    • Help integrate acquired companies. 
    • Manage change management for communication and training.

    Customer Care:

    • Support local Customer care organizations and implement global guidelines
    • Support with complex issue resolutions, complaints and prioritisation issues to attain Superior Customer Experience.
    • Guide organisation optimisation for improved efficiency
    • Work in close colaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, Trade Affairs and other departments to ensure improved service levels to customers

    Your professional profile includes:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline.
    • 8+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in supply chain management with a background in logistics management and customer care in international work environments. 
    • Knowledge of transportation, customs and trade affairs needs and trends in SAMEA.   
    • Experience with incoterms and shipping terminologies.  
    • Excellent project management and change management skills.  
    • Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language. 
    • Able to travel within the SAMEA region.

    Process Technican

    Preventative Maintenance:

    • You will perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment, proactively identifying and resolving recurring maintenance issues in theassigned area of activity.

    Electronic and Mechanical Installations:

    Liquids Operator

    Core Responsibilities

    • Under supervision of more experienced Operator/Leader, perform basic operation of designated machines and productionequipment such as (one of the following): blenders, sieves, spray dryer systems, batching systems, multipurpose reactors,spinning cone column, bulk tanks, Roxane robots, packaging systems, ovens, mills, distillation columns (stills),encapsulation systems. Common tasks involve one of the following activities: blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging,heating, cooking, adding enzymes, compounding, filtering.
    • Collect intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines.
    • Understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications, so the proper quantities of materials are added in the propersequence.
    • Manufacture product in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific qualitystandards.
    • Accurately read control instruments, prepare neat & accurate records for all operations as required.
    • Troubleshoot problems under guidance of more experienced Operator or provide assistance.
    • Assist in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met. Identify deviations anddocument/communicate them in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Prepare product packaging for next step in production or for final shipment to customer according to departmentspecifications.
    • Maintain neat, orderly and clean shop floor and workplace at all times and complete all sanitation and housekeepingduties as required.
