    Sales & Marketing Specialist

    Description

    The opportunity

    • We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Service Sales Manager to generate opportunities, secure profitable sales, and deliver exceptional customer value.
    • Your focus will be on Installed Base (IB) penetration and promoting the full-Service Product portfolio in collaboration with other service units. You will be building long-term customer relationships, respond quickly to their needs, and help shape innovative solutions.

    How you’ll make an impact            

    • Preparing proposals, quotations, and competitive bids with accurate technical and commercial considerations.

    • Managing tendering process, pricing strategies, and risk reviews in coordination with Service Sales Manager.
    • Maintaining project pipeline, forecasts, and documentation using Hitachi Energy tools.
    • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, respond promptly to issues, and act as voice of the customer internally.
    • Identifying new market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
    • Supporting marketing activities, product launches, and customer meetings.

    Your background

    • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Service sales, Estimation & Bids Proposals and strong customer relationship skills.
    • Proven understanding of Hitachi Energy systems and products
    • Experience working within the Energy sector
    • Strong commercial, technical, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently, with a strategic and result-oriented mindset.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel across assigned countries as needed.
    • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.

    Senior Commissioning Engineer

    Main Accountabilities:

    Technical contribution

    • Manages the commissioning activities to ensure quality, timely delivery within targeted costs.
    • Ensures implementation design changes in commissioning and the production of as built project documentation. Supports continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.

    Sales support Assists in creation and presentation of proposals for engineering projects or programs (provision of bills of material, estimated engineering hours etc.).

    Contract management Supports Contract Managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.).

    • Ensures adherence to safety standards in the area of responsibility and mitigation of potential risks.

    Planning and control

    • Creates work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility.
    • Manages the implementation of the commissioning plan. Improves effectiveness of work plans in collaboration with other functions.

    Risk and opportunity management

    • Conducts risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase to ensure implementation of commissioning plan, identifies & reports potential risks related to contract/quality/program/cost and recommends resolutions to management.
    • Initiates and monitors risk mitigation plan in own area of responsibility and ensures stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks.
    • Conducts Safety Observation tour regularly to report and mitigate potential HSE hazards.

    Customer Leads and coordinates commissioning activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification.

    • Interacts with customers and external providers for approval of plant acceptance criteria, open issues closure and performance tests.
    • Identifies and introduces new effective engineering solutions to meet business and customer needs.
    • Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of commissioning.

    Supply chain management

    • Manages external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems or services.
    • Provides technical guidance to ensure tools/systems meet required specifications.

    Technical leadership and development

    • Develops, coaches and provides technical guidance to colleagues in assigned business unit.
    • Gives feedbacks to the organization to apply lessons learned process.

    Processes and tools Creates standard processes and tools.

    • Ensures that all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and contractual requirements. Identifies, introduces and promotes processes and tools in one’s area of responsibility to increase productivity. Analyzes data and prepares reports to ensure on-contract delivery.

    Application Engineer

    Description

    The opportunity

    • We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Application Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be bringing the knowledge of a senior specialist in our Transformers portfolio to Customers, ensuring mutual trust while also communicating with customers on technical preferences, imparting training and presenting Hitachi Energy transformer solutions.
    • You will be leading the regional business development and sales of Transformer solutions including digitalization, covering whole digital portfolio, tracking the market trends, and securing the anticipated growth impact.
    • You will be developing and implementing a regional sales strategy aligned with global strategy to increase customer penetration through engagement with Front End teams, distribution channel and through promotion of Digital and Sustainable Transformer solutions.

    How you’ll make an impact            

    • Adopting and supporting global transformer strategy and portfolio deployments in the HUB to Customers and Hitachi Energy with focus on
    • Contributing to bringing short, medium & long-term results via support to the sales and execution teams in a cradle to grave approach. Includes activity at Customer pre-tender/conceptual stage, Customer specification development, tender strategy development, technical tender clarification, order execution technical support, problem resolution and clarification, FAT support and post-delivery technical issue resolution.
    • Establishing and demonstrating industry leading business and technical knowledge leadership by organizing and conducting technical trainings / webinars / presentations via both Hitachi Energy and industry platforms.

    Associate Project Manager HV Service

    The Opportunity

    • We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Project Manager HV Service to join our team. As a project manager you will be the Key person, responsible for multiple projects for all projects stages.

    How you will make an impact  

    • Leading the project team, establish the project execution approach and oversee project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
    • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.

    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management or Project Controlling in a High Voltage products and services environment.
    • Experience with project management in the energy sector or substations and knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.
    • Basic knowledge of SAP is beneficial.
    • Ability to read technical drawings and documentations.
    • Proactive, result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as reliability and ability to work under pressure
    • You are a real organizational talent, you have an analytical attitude, and you have good communication skills commercial insight and negotiation skills
    • No objection to occasional travel abroad.
    • Knowledge of various contracts (NEC3, FIDIC, etc).
    • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
