    Responsibilities

    • We are seeking a skilled WM Consultant to join our team in Western Cape. As a Technical Consultant in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions using WM software. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects within the Information Technology sector. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Warehouse Management systems.Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Performing system analysis to gather requirements
    • Designing and developing WM solutions
    • Implementing software configurations
    • Testing and debugging applications

    • Architect Turnkey Projects: Develop detailed specifications for comprehensive power generation projects.
    • Drive Efficiency: Conduct value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Empower the Team: Train and mentor sales teams, fostering knowledge transfer for long-term success.
    • Manage Pricing and Procurement: Develop pricing strategies and cultivate strong relationships with market suppliers.
    • Become a Customer Advocate: Address customer concerns and ensure a positive experience with Cummins.
    • Embrace Innovation: Drive the utilization of cutting-edge Cummins tools and processes (PZ, Quick Serve, IQAs, SFC, etc.).

    To excel in this role, you'll need:

    • A Bachelor of Science or Technology in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the generator and EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) industry.
    • 5-10 years of experience designing and executing projects in a construction environment.
    • Strong understanding of the power generation industry and customer base.
