    Front Office Supervisor Radisson Red Hotel

    Key Responsibilities of the Front Office Supervisor:

    • Supports the smooth running of the front office department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level
    • Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution
    • Delivers on plans and objectives where front office initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
    • Supervises the front office team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department
    • Accountable for ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
    • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
    • Takes ownership to deliver an effective planned guest engagement programme
    • Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing followup as required

    Requirements of the Front Office Supervisor:

    • Experience in front office
    • Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a handson approach and leadbyexample work style
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
    • Ability to find creative solutions with proven problemsolving capabilities offering support where required
    • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
    • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
    • Strong communication skills

    Tasks

    • Be part of our hotel Revenue team.
    • You drive all aspects of our revenue forward in rooms, events, food & drink and anywhere else.
    • Forward planning, contract control and negotiation are close at heart. Always ensuring the right deal is in place and correctly recorded on the correct contracting system.
    • Meet and greet. Network with clients and potential clients, showcase our hospitality.
    • Produce the reports with an accurate detail, through understanding, ready to share the workings out.
    • Always on time. Deadlines are embraced and we don’t keep people waiting. Our guests don’t like it and it’s our culture throughout. We plan properly and make it happen. That’s our reputation and we uphold it. We are proud of it, we did create it.
    • Work closely with our partners, sharing information when required and supporting them.
    • You love to profile and understand our guests. We use this as a base to ensure our guests become fans.
    • You are not easily bored and value your place in the RED team. It would be no surprise to find you in the Hiall on a Monday morning, playing a game of pool with a regular guest. You enjoy it and recognise the guest experience as the heart of our business.
    • Communicate with fellow creatives … constantly.
    • Offer ideas, make suggestions and encourage fellow Creatives  for the benefit of guests, the venue and your colleagues.
    • Be coached. Go as far as you can. We insist.

    • You will have relevant experience in a Meetings & Events Sales or Reservations role and an oodles of personality. You should be innovative, creative, demonstrate a positive mindset and love a challenge. You are engaging, selfmotivated and love guests, we all do.
