    Grade One Teacher

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan prepare and present interesting and exciting grade 1 lessons.
    • Establish a teaching environment that is nurturing, and which promotes engaged learning.
    • Behave in a professional manner regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and students’ homework.
    • Evaluate, reflect on and refine teaching practice.
    • Be open to continuously develop ones teaching through personal and school wide professional development.
    • Teach extra lessons, when required, on two afternoons per week.
    • Produce resources of a high standard for students.
    • Respond to e-mails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.
    • Show loyalty to all facets of Reddam House.
    • Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head.
    • Set and mark exams and all other forms of student evaluation.
    • Write report comments.
    • The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head/line manager determine.

    • Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
    • A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area
    • Ability to judge learning effectiveness

    • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with students in grade 1
    • Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
    • University degree in appropriate subject
    • Certified Teaching Status

    Receptionist Blue Hills

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Welcoming visitors to the school and redirecting them to requested person / venue in the school or administration wing.
    • Receiving prospective students/ parents/ staff to the school.
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety guidelines and requirements.
    • Provide administrative support as required.
    • Assist with campus events.
    • Communication and liaison with parents, staff, and students (both written and verbal).
    • Perform office functions and activities related to the administration and operations of the school.
    • Adhere to deadlines.
    • Behave in a professional manner regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work.
    • Be willing to continuously develop one’s skills through personal and school wide professional development.
    • Produce work of a high standard.
    • Show loyalty to all facets of Reddford House.
    • The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head/line manager determine.
    • Checking cleaning schedules and ensuring support staff work schedules are being followed.
    • Reporting to Head of Campus as part of day-to-day.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Fluency in English language is essential.
    • Refrain from divulging confidential information relating to the School, Staff, or its students to any unauthorised person at any time.
    • Maintain professional boundaries with staff, parents, and children alike, and always be professional in one’s conduct.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong administrative and computer skills.
    • Appropriate right to work is a requirement.
    • Beneficial to have:
    • Level 1 First Aid Certificate
    • Other Diploma/Certificates obtained
