Job Description

• RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable and well established Construction Project Management Firm in the Western Cape is currently seeking a qualified, committed, and hardworking Junior/Intermediate Construction Project Manager who can join their growing team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards

Requirements:

• BSc/BTech degree in Construction Management/Project Management or similar
• Around 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with minimum 3 years in a full-function Construction Project Manager role
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, and contract documentation
• Proven ability to manage construction schedules, budgets, and subcontractor relationships
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Proficient with MS Office and MS Project
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building Science/Civil Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in concrete work (formwork, pouring, finishing)
• Proven experience in supervising site staff on building construction sites
• Knowledge of concrete types and formwork systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of job site safety standards (OSHA or local equivalent)
• Good leadership, communication, and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and maintenance practices

• RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading civil and structural engineering consulting firm in Gauteng is currently looking to hire a qualified Resident Engineer who can join their team in Pretoria as soon as possible. 

Requirements:

• National Diploma or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity working for well-established consulting firms
• Candidate registration with ECSA
• Experience in civil engineering construction and site supervision
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design specifications
• Proficient in site inspection, quality control, and safety standards
• Ability to manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
• Excellent report writing, problem-solving, and communication skills
