Requirements are:

Minimum Qualifications

• An appropriately recognised qualification in Graphic Design, Data Visualisation, Multimedia, Fine Arts or equivalent at NQF Level 5.

Minimum Experience

• One year of experience in graphic design in a communications environment, with a full and comprehensive portfolio, and the ability to use various design software including InDesign, Illustrator, and CorelDraw or similar.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of SAQA’s brand, designing for various communication outputs, including graphics, audio, and video material, for website and social media platforms, and understanding which platform is best suited for a particular type of communication.
• Attention to detail, creativity, working to a specific brief, working under tight timelines, problemsolving, customer focus, project management, written and verbal communication should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.

Key performance areas:

• Assist in creating visual concepts
•  Assist in designing and developing production, editing, and post-production of video, audio, and graphic material for SAQA
• Assist in providing strategic communications advice and expertise to SAQA business units
• Assist in designing SAQA communication material
• Assist in production and provision of communication material for SAQA events
