    Job Description
    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • To manage the mills production efficiencies, people productivity, and overall capacity of the production facility to ensure optimum performance of the plant with regard to product quality, cost, service levels and working capital.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Asset Management

    • Continuous availability of equipment. 
    • Reduced down time due to equipment breakdown; 
    • Reduced mill costs.

    Operational

    • Achieve target mill yield;
    • Minimize milling downtime;
    • Complete production reports
    • Complete quality analysis reports;
    • Adherence to good milling practices. Sampling etc.
    • Proficient setting and efficient working of all plant and equipment to achieve balanced mills;

    Sustainability & External Reporting Director

    Job Description
    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • The Group Sustainability and External Reporting Director will drive and coordinate corporate sustainability (environmental, social and governance issues) with measurable outcomes in all areas of corporate sustainability reporting to contribute to securing the company’s corporate licence to trade and position Tiger Brands as a champion for food security.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Develop, implement and manage an integrated, cross-divisional, multi-site group sustainability and external reporting strategy.
    • Conduct group-wide annual materiality assessment to support the business in identifying material ESG risks and opportunities.
    • Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework to guide the documentation and disclosure of ESG factors.
    • Support the organization in developing and implementing strategies that address climate change impacts on operations and supply chains.
    • Work collaboratively to build awareness and understanding of Tiger Brands’ sustainability strategy   among employees and key external audiences.
    • Drive the undertaking of ongoing tracking and improvement of a comprehensive performance metrics for all Tiger Brands operations. This also includes conducting socio-economic and environmental evaluations of potential investments.
    • Aggregate all environmental performance data from all of Tiger Brands’ operations, systems and sources into a master scorecard of environmental metrics
    • Convert aggregated metrics as necessary to align with the exact metrics required by various external reporting surveys including but not limited to: MSCI, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Dow Jones Sustainability Index and FTSE4Good.
    • Manage Tiger Brands’ submissions to sustainability survey requests from investors, rating agencies, customers, regulators and NGOs
    • Lead the planning, development and delivery of the sustainability annual report and sustainability reporting in different reporting mediums, including company intranet, corporate website and digital channels- internally and externally- in collaboration with the group’s communications and stakeholder relations teams.
    • Work collaboratively with Investor Relations in ensuring alignment of the Tiger Brands suite of reports, The sustainability report, the Integrated Report and the Audited Financial Statements.
    • In partnership with the Group Risk and Internal Audit Function identify Climate Risks and Opportunities to inform the overall Group Risk register
    • Identify environmental hotspots where focus on environmental improvement will accelerate achievement of Tiger Brand's environmental goals
    • Continuously evaluate new products, services, technologies and processes to ensure maximum improvement in environmental performance.
    • Provide thought leadership on emerging global sustainability developments and nurture and coordinate a cohesive, effective cross-functional sustainability team to keep Tiger Brands abreast of these developments.

    Demand Planning Manager: Grains

    Job Description
    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • Responsible for development of a 24 months rolling unconstrained, unbiased Demand Plan across categories with opportunities & vulnerabilities / risks regularly revised in order to reflect the best estimate of future customer demand. The role is also responsible for facilitating demand review process across all categories. Also manage and build capability of a team of demand planners.     • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are complied with -  5S pillar; HACCP; FSSC 22000, ISO 14000

    • Exposure to PLC’s preferably Siemens
    • Exposure to AC drives and sequential control systems

    • Strong logical/diagnostic approach to troubleshooting 
    • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing

    Experience & Qualifications 

    • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (S4 or N6); B-Tech in Instrumentation
    • Have worked with Allan Bradley, Siemens TI Portal, Schneider and Omron
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in FMCG (Pharmaceutical environment will be an added advantage).
    • Experienced in CIP plant, chiller plant and effluent plant
    • Have worked with packaging equipment (Filler, Capper, shrink wrappers and crimper and conveying system)
    • Robotics will be an added advantage
    • Proven experience working with single-line diagrams for high-voltage systems
    • Strong understanding of high-voltage supply systems and the role of articulation suppliers
    • Hands-on experience with high-voltage switching, particularly for 1000kV or higher
    • Expertise in transformer maintenance and monitoring, including oil sampling and condition assessment
    • Knowledge of power factor correction techniques and equipment to optimize system efficiency and reduce energy losses
    • Proven experience in managing utilities, specifically overseeing power supply from municipal high-voltage sources to socket outlets

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

    • You will support the People Manager in the execution of the business specific people agenda and deliver efficient and cost-effective People administrative support to employees and managers at particular business sites in the organisation. This includes administrative activities and service delivery along the whole HR value chain (incl. talent acquisition and management, organisation, capabilities, employee relations and culture needs and priorities).

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Execution of People Strategy
    • Responsible for the execution of programmes and activities initiated by the People Business Partners, e.g. talent acquisition
    • campaigns, bargaining agreements, learning and development programmes
    • Keep the People Manager informed about the status and success of programmes
    • Provide operational support for ER/IR issues including grievances, disciplinary hearings and terminations
    • Coordinate employee engagement activities such as surveys administration, gathering employee feedback, etc.
    • Collaborate with the People Manager on recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, assessments, etc.

    Administrative Local Support

    • Process all People Shared Services activities related to a site or group of sites as per the defined standard procedure
    • Manage the administration of People operational activities in multiple People disciplines (recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, 
    • L&D and Employee Lifecycle.)
    • Manage the on-boarding of new hires - document collection, checklists etc.
    • Schedule and manages administrative activities related to L&D courses at site, e.g. enrolment of employees to courses
    • Run customized People reports, dashboards and metrics to suit business requirements
    • Provide regular communication and training to all stakeholders on process and system changes as well as on other relevant 
    • matters pertaining to PSSC
    • Advise and socialise business/employees on all HRSS processes relating to site
    • Monitor and address business adoption issues with People Manager
    • Implement and track activities proposed by People Manager (issue resolution)
    • Maintain data integrity and org structures in line with standards / budgeted headcount
