    People Business Partner: TS, Mayo & PB

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Execution of People Strategy

    • Responsible for the execution of programmes and activities initiated by the People Business Partners, e.g. talent acquisition campaigns, bargaining agreements, learning and development programmes
    • Keep the People Manager informed about the status and success of programmes
    • Provide operational support for ER/IR issues including grievances, disciplinary hearings and terminations
    • Coordinate employee engagement activities such as surveys administration, gathering employee feedback, etc.
    • Collaborate with the People Manager on recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, assessments, etc.

    Administrative Local Support

    • Process all People Shared Services activities related to a site or group of sites as per the defined standard procedure
    • Manage the administration of People operational activities in multiple People disciplines (recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, L&D and Employee Lifecycle.)
    • Manage the on-boarding of new hires - document collection, checklists etc.
    • Schedule and manages administrative activities related to L&D courses at site, e.g. enrolment of employees to courses
    • Run customized People reports, dashboards and metrics to suit business requirements
    • Provide regular communication and training to all stakeholders on process and system changes as well as on other relevant matters pertaining to PSSC
    • Advise and socialise business/employees on all HRSS processes relating to site
    • Monitor and address business adoption issues with People Manager
    • Implement and track activities proposed by People Manager (issue resolution)
    • Maintain data integrity and org structures in line with standards / budgeted headcount

    • Experience in managing SLAs and HR issue resolution

    Internal Auditor: Senior

    • THE JOB AT A GLANCE
       
    • Your ultimate goal is to support the Internal Audit Manager in providing the Board, Senior Management and the Audit Committee assurance that the system of internal control is adequate and effective, risk management processes are working as intended and that the organisation complies with the relevant Corporate Governance Codes as amended from time to time.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Responsible for execution of field work in support of delivery against internal audit coverage plans and budget 
    • Perform follow up testing and proactively follow up with management regarding the close out of previously raised audit findings  
    • Perform control self-assessment validations
    • Execute ad-hoc management requests
    • Ability to understand and apply computer-assisted auditing techniques (CAAT’s)
    • Document systems of internal control both financial and operational
    • Documenting quality findings and provide value-adding and cost-effective recommendations for managing risk as a key input into the draft report
    • Communicates findings to management and resolve prior to formal close out
    • Prepare the draft report in line with the relevant deadlines 
    • To ensure compliance on each audit assignment to the Tiger Internal Audit Methodology and Institute of Internal Auditors (IA) standards

    Monthly reporting

    • Assist the IA manager to prepare the consolidated audit committee reporting, i.e.: Operational audit committees and main Tiger Brands audit committee. 
    • Assists the IA manager in consolidating the monthly reporting of “open items” and other Internal Audit key performance indicators.
    • Provide professional guidance to internal auditors them in fulfilling their audit responsibilities.
    • Execute other duties as delegated by the Internal Audit Manager
    • Promotes professional and productive working relationships with management

    WHAT YOU WILL BE MEASURED ON

    • Execution and reporting of internal audits as per the audit coverage plan in accordance with internal audit methodology and the IIA standards.

    • Credible auditor with at least 3 years' experience and understanding of internal controls, risk management and audit standards

    • To maintain mechanical equipment in good order by adhering to maintenance procedures to enable Production Department to meet production targets
    • Compilation and updating of equipment registers (safety).
    • To ensure that machinery used in the unit is maintained, set correctly and free of safety hazards.
    • Input and print job cards and stores requisitions on the planned maintenance system.
    • Provide technical support to machine operators.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and maintenance inspections.
    • Machinery available and utilised to full capacity.
    • Planned maintenance executed and improved operational efficiency at all machines assigned to the position.
    • To efficiently manage stocks of spares & equipment needed to maintain Plant
    • To minimize plant downtime through efficient & effective maintenance
    • Applying pro-active preventative maintenance principles
    • Complete job cards, log books and inspection reports.
    • Assist in conduct hazard analysis and determine control measures for the hazards
    • Familiarise yourself and adhere to the maintenance-related food safety program established by the Maintenance Coordinator
    • Ensure the usage of only approved food grade lubricants on machinery.
    • Adhere to all food safety standards
    • Computer literacy and exposure to Computer Maintenance management System preferably DMS.
