    Maintenance Assistant - VKB Milling, Modderrivier

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 or NQF4
    • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans will be an advantage
    • Willing to work at elevated levels
    • 1-3 years prior experience in a similar capacity
    • Punctual and willing to work overtime
    • Clean Criminal Record  

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist artisan to reduce breakdowns and downtime periods in the plant to limit unnecessary costs.
    • Assist maintenance and breakdowns on all electrical equipment and assist with electrical installations and inspections on site.
    • Assist with completing paperwork, check sheets and job cards.
    • Assist with the start-up of all electrical equipment and repair problems before commencement of production shift.
    • Comply with occupational health and safety requirements as per Flour Mills standards and procedures.
    • To liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products.
    • To successfully complete all allocated training interventions by direct manager

    Payroll Assistant - Human Capital, Head Office Reitz

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / NQF 4.
    • Full computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
    • 100% proficiency in English (reading, writing, and understanding.

    Skills

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support the payroll team with document management, scanning, indexing, and archiving of payroll and employee records.
    • Perform general labour administration tasks, including basic data entry, follow-ups on employee documentation, and assistance with UIF claims.
    • Assist with the processing and tracking of payroll-related forms and ensure completeness and accuracy.
    • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Maintain compliance with internal processes and statutory requirements (e.g., BCEA, UIF).

    Information Security Specialist - I&T, Head Office Reitz

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Securiy+, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Adutior certificates will be advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related IT role.
    • Experience with security incident handling and forensic investigations is a plus.

    Requirements

    • A tertiary qualification in Animal Science, Animal Production or related will serve as a minim requirement.
    • BSc Agriculture (Animal Science/Nutrition) preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical advisory or sales within the animal feed industry.
    • Proven track record of working with clients in at least two of the following: swine, beef or poultry.
    • Valid Driver’s License
