• Qualify and Develop opportunities within the responsible accounts and fleet, understanding the single sales objective, associated risks, customers objective, the competition, the customers individual wins, our strengths and weaknesses and our position with each opportunity leveraging our strengths and mitigating or eliminating our weaknesses.
• Identify Customer Requirements and needs based on client knowledge, client’s business and fleet information and our product knowledge
• Identify components for local manufacture by working with the engineering and planning team
• Support Sales & Marketing Head with New Sales for Service opportunities and developing big tickets or strategic initiatives

• Manage and have a customer call-plan & Customer visit plan
• Fluent in the use of SalesForce in terms of managing the funnel and the data in each field
• Uses SalesForce and other means to drive the opportunities through the funnel by facilitating the various support functions to present the offers timeously.
• Understands the target pricing (Customers Budget), competitor landscape and customers pains and gains to position Siemens Energy favourably.
• Performance against order intake forecast (Month on Month, Quarter on Quarter and Year on Year)

What You Bring 

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, other relevant discipline
• Experience: Typically, 2 years or less (Level 1), 2 to 5 years (Level 2), or more than 5 years (Level 3) of Sales related experience with a proven track record, preferably in the relevant industry / market

A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for Regional Payroll Specialist to support our Regional Payroll Leads in driving and implementing the overall strategy and governance for payroll within the region, ensuring operational performance with third parties, driving standardization & efficient / lean processes, and collaboratively working with internal stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Support the Global and Regional Payroll Leads in developing and building the global payroll governance approach.
• Ensure control framework is implemented and actively supervised in the region.
• Ensure payroll performance of third parties through key performance and risk indicators.
• Find opportunities for improvement (i.e., processes) to ensure global standard and efficient operational delivery.
• Bring sound knowledge and experience of multi-country payroll delivery and governance, delivering change and re-engineering processes.
• Working with other partners i.e., Accounting, Treasury etc, to ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and followed.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll queries as they are escalated through HR, managers, and employees.

What You Bring 

• 5+ years of experience in payroll processing in Africa on a regional or sub-regional scale.  Preferably experience on a multi country payroll outsourcing environment.
• Sound knowledge on Personal Income Tax, Wage Tax and Social Security regulations in the different countries of Africa Region.
•  Sound knowledge of payroll accounting, payroll compliances and audits.
•  Full time bachelor’s degree (accounting/finance background is a plus)
• Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders, e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, Accounting department, IT department, management, external vendors etc.
•  Thrives in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
• Must be fluent in English and proficient in French.
• Proficiency in using MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.).
