    Medical Specialist Grade 1/2/3 Nuclear Medicine

    Requirements :

    • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Sprecialist in Nuclear Medicine.
    • Current registration with the HPCSA for 2025/2026.

    Medical Registrar

    Requirements :

    Middle Manager Level 9 (Senior Case Manager

    Requirements :

    • Appropriate Diploma/Degree in a Health-Related Field. Ten (10) years’ experience in a clinical field of which 5 years should be in a supervisory level. Registration with SANC or HPCSA for 2025/2026.

    Duties :

    • Efficient and effective implementation of Case Management standard of practise, policies, protocols and procedure within the hospital. Coordination of work within Revenue Management, Patient Admin, Clinical, Therapeutics and Nursing departments.
    • Monitor and manage internal patients who are externally funded (i.e., ensure that ALOS is kept within the norm according to diagnosis and also to obtain reasons from Clinical HOD for extended length of stay). Managed and monitor Medico Legal cases.
    • Ensure that ICD 10 and UPFS coding are correct, specific, and relevant. Ensure efficient and effective communication of updated clinical information for externally funded clients/ patients.
    • Auditing of externally funded billed files in order to monitor accuracy in coding. Liaising with all relevant role players in matters relating to Case Management.
    • Authorizing of all medical aid patients including compilation of clinical updates. Monitoring and support on Medical Aid rejections. Provide training and support on UPFS, ICD IO coding, procedure codes and charge sheets.
    • Attend nursing and other clinical audit committees to monitor hospital efficiency indicators to improve positive clinical outcomes and quality of care. Daily monitoring of inpatient's registration by doing ward rounds with operational managers, play a role in daily bed management.
    • Compilation of comprehensive reports for reporting i.e., weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Supervision and development of staff. Please note this is a non OSD post.

    Assistant Case Manager

    Requirements :

    • Appropriate Diploma/Degree/Enrolled Nursing Certificate in a Health-Related Field.

Ensure accurate ICD 10 coding and Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) application to minimize claim rejections.
    • Visit wards daily to check/identify private, foreign and medical aid patients in all business units. Responsible for completing charge sheet to charge all services rendered to patients and assist Billing Clerks to raise correct claim rand amount towards revenue collection. Assist to bill medical aid patients. Audit all claims for ICD 10 coding and UPFS accuracy before being submitted for payment to funders to minimise rejections.
    • Coordination and assistance with ICD 10 Coding training. Keeping monthly statistics on hospital ICD 10 coding compliance to ensure reporting. Attend training and workshops as and when required and/or requested to do so. Assist with compilation of clinical updates to the medical schemes and ensure approved Length of Stay. Perform any reasonable tasks within the directorate as may be required. personnel performance and review thereof.

    Manager Nursing (PN-A9) Level 3 Hospital

    Requirements :

    • Degree/Diploma in General Nursing or basic R425 qualification in Nursing that allows registration with South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse. A post-basic qualification in Health Services Management/Nursing Administration registered with SANC.
