    Assistant Director: Case Management (Re-advert, Applicants who Previously Applied are Encouraged to Re-apply)

    Package : R 468 459.00 per annum (Plus benefits) level 9

    Requirements :

    • National Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6/7) in Labour Relations/ Human Resource Management/ Law as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in Labour Relations, collective bargaining, legal environment and/or case management of which 2 years must be at supervisory level.
    • Knowledge and skills: GPG and GPDRT policies and procedures and relevant legislation and Public Service Regulations, people management and empowerment and problem-solving analysis.

    Duties :

    • Manage and maintain a case management system. Acknowledge and register all cases in the Department. Analyse reports received and charge employees to determine grounds of misconduct.
    • Ensure investigations are conducted and liaise with Labour Unions’ representatives and make recommendations.
    • Facilitate dispute resolution. Attend the conciliation and arbitration proceedings on all set down disputes.
    • Coordinate and facilitate disciplinary processes. Facilitate the acknowledgement and receipt of arbitration awards.

    • Promote fair and sound Labour relations practices in the Department.

    Deputy Director: Fraud, Corruption and Integrity Managment

    • Package : R 932 292.00 per annum (All-inclusive package) level 11

    Requirements :

    • National Diploma (NQF Level 6)/Degree (NQF level 7) in Forensic Investigation/ Risk Management/ Internal Auditing/ Forensic Auditing. 3-5 years' experience at Assistant Director level (Junior Management) within Fraud and Anti-Corruption and Investigation environment. Knowledge and skills.
    • GPG and GPDRT policies and procedures, Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and Public Service Regulations. Knowledge of Fraud and corruption environment, Written and verbal communication (at an executive management level) and Ability to communicate at all levels and across all sectors using various medium (e.g. presentation). Analytical and problem-solving skills, Report writing, Policy and strategic planning and Problem solving and analysis.

    Duties :

    • Investigate all fraud and corruption. Investigate all allegations of fraud and corruption received from internal and external persons.
    • Conduct statement taking, evidence collection and draft preliminary investigative reports. Prevent fraud and corruption within the Department. Conduct research on latest fraud and corruption legislation and develop educational programs.
    • Develop and implement fraud prevention and anti-corruption strategies and programmes. Conduct fraud risk assessment. Detect fraud and corruption. Detect suspicious/hidden patterns and abnormal behavior across data types. Manage the preparation of detection reports and closure.
    • Create an ethical environment and improve good governance. Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and draft an annual schedule of awareness sessions. Develop, implement and review anti- corruption and integrity management policies, strategies and procedures of the unit.
    • Develop strategic framework on anti-corruption and integrity management fraud prevention plan. Manage integrity management measures and promote ethical conduct in the department. Ensure SMS members and other categories of designated employees submit Financial Disclosures in line with the Financial Disclosure Framework.
    • Manage the development of fraud and ethics risk register for the Department. Ensure submission of fraud risk action plan progress reports by business. Manage Resources (human, equipment/asset etc.). Manage grievances according to prescribed procedures.

    Duties :

    • Develop and promote disease and chronic illnesses management programmes.
    • Manage and promote mental health and psychosomatic illnesses. Manage injury on duty and incapacity due to ill health.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, guidelines and promote occupational health education.
    • Manage resources (Human/equipment/Assets).
    • Conduct awareness programmes on the functions and purpose of health surveillance and the relevant laws and regulations.
    • Develop and implement a toolkit for Mental Health Promotion in the workplace which looks at practical steps for addressing mental health.

    • Develop Departmental Health and Productivity Management Policy and flexible policies that address work-life balance.
    • Coordinate the implementation of wellness programmes, projects and interventions. Manage staff Plan, organize and control activities pertaining to the functions of the programme Provide technical advice to management Evaluate and monitor performance of employees to ensure achievement of strategic goals.

    Legal Admin Officer (MR5): Legal Opinion

    Requirements :
