    Traffic Manager - Homechoice (Southern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • As the Traffic Manager you will effectively manage, monitor and control the flow of work in the creative production process 

    What you love doing in this role

    • You love managing our creative scope of work and ensuring we have all the available resources to meet the business’s work requirements
    • You love managing all the timings of creative output and adjusting them according to trade and changing deadlines
    • You love playing as a team by reviewing and accepting briefs from all business divisions and allocating them to available creative resources
    • You love managing and onboarding freelances and adding new joiners to the business’s systems
    • You love being in charge of formulating the weekly Creative Review agenda where all the weekly creative work is reviewed
    • You love collaborating with merchandise and marketing in building and managing the business’s annual timelines 
    • You love being involved in the print process and adding the required print material to the monthly content plan
    • You love educating and training all departments about the creative processes and platforms
    • You love delivering on your promises and ensuring all agreed deadlines are met

    What you'll need to do this role

    • Project Management Certification
    • Degree in logistics, marketing or commerce will be advantageous
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years advertising agency/in-house agency experience is essential
    • 3 Years’ proven experience in a traffic management role
    • Experience in managing the full traffic and production cycle
    • Experience in managing and coordinating web and print production with designers, copywriters and proof readers
    • Capable of developing clear and up-to-date procedural processes  
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing clear processes
    • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

    Buyer: Appliances - Homechoice (Southern Suburbs (Cape))

    Description

    • As an Appliances Buyer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our customer's home experiences. You'll source, develop, and launch private label and branded products that resonate with our target market, driving sales and profitability.

    What you love doing in this role

    • Product Strategy: Develop and execute category strategies, identifying trends and opportunities to build a balanced cohesive range and drive growth.
    • Sourcing and Development: Source and develop innovative products from both local and international suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (merchandising, sales, logistics, creative and marketing) to deliver on-trend, customer-centric products.
    • Financial Management: Manage budgets, analyse performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
    • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring timely deliveries.
    • Digital Proficiency: Leverage your digital skills to analyse and interpret data to inform purchasing decisions, optimize online merchandising, and communicate effectively across various platforms.

    Requirements
    What you'll need to do this role

    • Experience: 3+ years of buying experience, preferably in home appliances, including private label product sourcing and development experience from both local and international suppliers.
    • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation skills, a keen eye for trends, and an understanding of digital tools and platforms.
    • Passion: A genuine passion for home products and a customer-first mindset.
    • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (i.e, Business, Supply Chain or Merchandising).
