    Job Description

    • A reputable engineering and consulting company is seeking an experienced Divisional Secretary to join their team in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and financial support experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to confidently engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience within a consulting or professional services environment will be advantageous.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide general office administration, including typing, filing, document control, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and leave administration.
    • Provide financial administration support, including processing invoices, credit notes, orders, contracts, claims, and creditor information.
    • Assist with project administration, budget control, timesheets, income forecasting, debt collection, and month-end reporting.
    • Coordinate staff-related administration, including orientations, training agreements, performance reviews, mentorship, and professional registrations.
    • Compile and submit tenders, proposals, and other marketing-related documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative and financial information is up to date.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with invoicing, administration, information gathering, and report preparation.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    Sheq Manager

    Job Description

    • A reputable industrial company is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join their team in Muizenberg, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining integrated Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality systems across the organization, ensuring compliance and driving a strong SHEQ culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain integrated SHEQ systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 requirements.
    • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Develop and implement health, safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and work instructions.
    • Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, emissions, resource conservation and environmental performance.
    • Oversee quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, customer complaints and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Coordinate internal and external ISO certification audits and ensure audit findings and corrective actions are addressed.
    • Develop and deliver SHEQ training, inductions and awareness programmes while maintaining competency and training records.
    • Report on SHEQ performance, KPIs, compliance and improvement initiatives to senior management and engage with relevant stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or suitable Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
    • 5–8 years' experience in health and safety management, with 3–5 years' experience managing ISO management systems.
    • Proven experience implementing and maintaining integrated SHEQ systems.
    • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or operations-intensive environment is advantageous.
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, health and safety legislation, risk assessment and internal auditing.
    • ISO Lead Auditor certifications and NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
    • Strong analytical, organisational, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    • Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving and surfacing activities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and quantity surveying functions on civil infrastructure projects for a period of 24 months.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all site-based QS and commercial functions.
    • Measure and value earthworks, layerworks, drainage and roadworks.
