    Spray Painter

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Spray painting & handling of castings: Move castings using an overhead crane, ensure they are clean prior to spray painting, inspect for surface defects and dress as required, spray paint according to required standards, then move and stack castings in designated areas safely.
    • Quality, production & performance: Adhere to quality control requirements per work instructions, achieve set production targets, work according to efficiency standards, and comply with all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs), and company policies.
    • Maintenance & materials: Perform TPM checklists, ensure consumable stock items are maintained, and report low stock levels to the Shift Leader.

    Planning Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Technical Planning, Scheduling & SAP Management: Oversees financial budgeting for Planning; develops and manages MPS; aligns production plans with capacity, labour, machine uptime and materials; performs capacity planning; manages subcontract planning and control; ensures Lean implementation; audits Logistics/Planning/Purchasing; maintains job pack quality; manages MRP action messages, production order alignment and visual management tools; expedites lower‑level components; manages ERP item loading, subcontract orders, and ensures accurate material postings, routings, physical counts, reconciliations, variance analysis and master data accuracy.

    • Leadership, People Development & Technical Growth: Provides effective leadership across multi‑shift teams, ensuring internal customer service excellence; manages planner performance, people development and training; leads technical development of the Shop including yield improvements and new part/material industrialisation; and upholds Support Care values through proactive communication and stakeholder support.

    Materials Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Material Planning, Ordering & Inventory Control: Ensure effective ordering, availability, and control of consumables and direct materials through accurate material planning, correct ordering methods (Kanban, reorder point, MRP, manual), maintenance of min–max, safety stock and replenishment parameters in SAP, generation and management of requisitions, purchase orders and call‑offs, supplier performance tracking and escalation, collaboration with Procurement on risks and long‑lead items, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production with zero stockouts while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
    • System Accuracy, Storekeeping & Traceability: Maintain transactional accuracy and SAP/MES alignment by overseeing goods receipts (101), material issues (261/262), transfer postings (311/321) and other movement types; controlling storekeeping areas for segregated materials, consumables and critical spares; validating material master data; monitoring consumption trends and abnormalities; ensuring alignment between shopfloor usage, MES confirmations and SAP postings; correcting BOM consumption variances, backflush errors and routing quantities; and ensuring batch, heat number traceability and compliant digital audit records.
    • Production Support, Cross‑Functional Coordination & NPI: Support stable production by ensuring all required materials are available before shift start, participating in daily production meetings with material readiness updates, coordinating with Production, Lab, Tooling and Maintenance to forecast material needs, supporting new product introduction by sourcing development materials, and maintaining continuous communication to enable smooth material flow and uninterrupted operations.
    • Continuous Improvement, Stocktakes & Compliance Discipline: Drive continuous improvement in material flow, storage and system processes by identifying inefficiencies, leading initiatives on inventory reduction, scrap and waste reduction, improved ordering discipline and automated replenishment signals, conducting root‑cause analysis for recurring shortages or variances, supporting 5S and layout improvements, and executing disciplined stocktakes through full posting cut‑offs, accurate BOM/routing/WIP data, well‑prepared count sheets, controlled physical counts, immediate variance reconciliation, corrective actions, and strengthened master data and stock control processes.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment & materials control.

    Planner

    Purpose of Role:

    • To ensure growth within the business model by ensuring production orders for key OE products are loaded and maintained to ensure products are produced to meet customer committed due dates and meet or exceed customer expectations.

    • Job Tags are printed Daily
    • Job Tags are updated with the correct colour codes Daily
    • Start date vs Completion date must be aligned Daily
    • Board Audit to ensure that all Tags are on the board Weekly
    • All Job Packs Created for Tags that are Red – Orange
    • Slotting Room 5S Daily

    Plan adherence:

    • Reducing Overdue orders Compile plan for the following week
    • Production Capacity Slotting

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • National Diploma in Logistics / Production Planning or Industrial Engineer. Project Management.
    • At least 3 years’ experience; Or Matric/Grade 12 with more than 5 years’ experience.
    • Experience on Microsoft (MS Office 365), run and interpret Excel Pivot Table reports.
    • BAAN 4c4 / INfor LN / SAP – shop floor functions (i.e. generation of production orders, projects, outbound advice etc.)
    • Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

    Technical Business Analyst

    Purpose of Role:

    • Supports the Weir business by developing and delivering a common integration platform to support the Weir division in simplifying the technology landscape and building reusable API assets.
    • Working as a member of the Integration Platform team within Information Systems & Technology, the team and this role support the needs of the many business groups across Weir and will be pivotal in advancing our data integration agenda.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Analytical & Organisational Exposure: Hands-on experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, ideally within complex, highly federated organisations. Proven ability to work internationally and across cultures, with proactive communication and engagement at all organisational levels.
    • Technical Expertise: Skilled in data engineering, integrations, analytics, and governance. Familiarity with modern data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft), ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday), and design thinking methodologies. Strong knowledge of structured analysis, solution design, and integration concepts.
    • Strategic Thinking & Communication: Excellent communication and customer engagement skills. Ability to develop original concepts and theories, with exposure to emerging technologies and modelling approaches. Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
