    Business Development Manager

    Our client, a JSE listed company, is looking for an Business Development Manager to join their zestful team based in Johannesburg.
    The successful applicant must have the following qualification and experience:

    •  Gr 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification
    •  Tertiary Sales qualification an advantage
    • English communication ability (Other languages advantageous)
    •  Proven track record of successful sales in a service environment essential.
    •  Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
    •  Min 3 yrs. experience in the Cleaning Industry
    •  Excellent MS Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    •  Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
    •  Financial acumen / numeric reasoning ability
    •  Commercial/business minded and entrepreneurial

    Responsibilities

    •         Identify and generate leads through various interfaces such as networking, cold calling and area surveys
    •         Investigate, qualify and motivate the membership of appropriate organisations which relate to our industry.
    •         Ensure updated vendor registration with top 100 corporates .
    •         Conduct a minimum number of qualified client meetings per week which will include new client meetings as well as surveys and follow up client meetings
    •         Attend any client meetings, site surveys, presentations that fit with the growth strategy.
    •         Conduct appropriate research client prior to initial engagement, placing special attention on assessing the client BBBEE scorecard requirements.
    •         In the event of a sales administrator not being available – preparation of cleaning proposals, vendor applications and presentations.
    •         Organize site visits with operational counterparts where applicable
    •         Client profiling as per growth strategy requirements
    •         Manage pipeline to ensure that there is a positive and healthy number of potential clients in the sales funnel at any given time
    •         Adhere to Capability cleaning strategy
    •         Network to generate leads and business contacts

    Superintendent Management Accountant

    About the job
    The suitable incumbent for this position, will be responsible for supervising and directing the management accounting team, as well as coordinate the annual forecasting, budgeting and planning process.

    Requirements

    • B. Compt (Hons) Accounting/CTA
    • Knowledge of SAP
    • Chartered Accountant (SA)
    • Minimum of five years direct accounting experience
    • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with a Public Accounting firm would be advantageous


    Responsibilities

    • Supervising and directing the preparation of financial and management accounting reports
    • Managing and consolidating annual budgets based on business planning horizons and ensuring that the plan is appropriately stretched and aligned to business production plans
    • Managing and consolidating periodic rolling forecasts covering production volumes, revenue, cost, margin and profitability as informed by monthly forecasting in place
    • Communicating the analysis and drawing insight and highlighting areas where performance targets are not achieved
    • Ensuring that planned data that includes projection of costs, performance as well as delivering an impact analysis on how the market economic drivers will impact the business plan
    • Providing input into risk analysis to the business strategic objectives and identify areas for improvement
    • Analyzing of variances and other analysis of performance against plan in order to assist line management with financial control as and when required
    • Assisting the line Manager in Preparing Exco and Board packs
    • Managing and reviewing posting of journals including accruals and provision for period closure process
    • Attending to all ad-hoc matters relating to the financial and management section
