    JOB DESCRIPTION

    To promote and deliver professional, commercially viable and quality clinic services in compliance with South African Nursing Council regulations and company standards.

    Purpose and Objectives

    • Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines
    • Provide lifestyle management screening tests
    • Conduct health immunisations and baby health monitoring
    • Offer and provide reproductive health services
    • Provide adult immunisations
    • Provide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound care 
    • Manage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are taken
    • Manage adverse events and emergencies
    • Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management
    • Refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate
    • Plan and implement projects eg. Health week
    • Develop health professional networks

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Registration as Professional Nurse
    • 3 year diploma in nursing or a 4 year degree
    • A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines
    • Computer literate, MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

    • Ensures patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on an    electronic system
    • Administration and reporting to ensure efficient running of the clinic as per company policy and processes

    Frontline Supervisor | Northern Suburbs

    Overview

    Essential Health is recruiting for a Frontline Supervisor. The main purpose of this role is to enhance shopper experience and to act as the liaison between management and cashiers. Supervise the day-to-day operations of cashiers to ensure that till points are running efficiently. Record customer transactions with zero tolerance towards inaccuracy.

    Minimum Requirement

    Essential:

    • Grade 12 | Matric with Math 50% | Math Lit 60% | Languages 50%
    • Minimum of 2 years cashier related work experience, of which 6 months should be shadowing a Cashier Supervisor
    • Sound numerical skills
    • Computer literate – MS Office
    • Willing and able to work retail hours

    Advantageous:

    • 3 years’ work experience, with 1 year supervisory experience

     Job Specification:

    • Manage and report all customer compliments and complaints to management
    • Ensure that queues flow smoothly through the isle at till points
    • Pay attention to the manner in which customers respond to cashiers, and act accordingly
    • Manage the shorts and overs at the points of sale, including floats
    • Manage all discrepancies at the point of sale
    • Authorise line voids, tender ups and price overrides
    • Manage refunds and returns transactions according to Essential Health’s operating procedures
    • Transact all purchases – receive and process all types of payments (cash, card, account etc.)
    • Ensure accurate document control by checking the following:

    General Worker | Housekeeper - Heldelberg Area

    We are seeking a General Worker/Housekeeper to perform a variety of cleaning duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout all areas of the business.
    • Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition;
    • Ensure that all walkways and reception areas remain clean and free of debris;
    • Cleaning tasks such as washing walls and glass, mirrors, removing rubbish, dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming;
    • Emptying garbage bins on a daily basis;
    • Ensure that the kitchens are clean and tidy at all times, dishes are washed and fridges are clean;
    • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures and to clean the windows, frames and blinds;
    • Ensure that health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times;
    • Ensure that bathrooms are kept sanitary throughout the day, e.g. ensure that there is enough toilet paper in the stalls, hand soap at the basins and replenish when required;
    • Informing management about cleaning supplies needed etc.;
    • May be asked to run errands, collect mail or assist with a delivery.

    Summary of the job:

    The incumbent carries out duties related to the handling of final packaged goods received, order execution and inventory management.
