Purpose of the job

The main purpose of the job of a merchandise controller is to allocate the right stock in the right quantities  at the right time to the right stores, according to plan and current store performance, in order to optimize the balance between service and stock levels  

Key Responsibilities

• Allocated Stock
• Manage DC Stock
• Resolved store orders and enquiries
• Updated activity records  
• Create styles
• Allocate d stock to new stores
• Resolve customer stock queries
• Ad hoc support tasks (e.g. collating information; QC follow-ups; etc.)
