Key Responsibility Area 

• Develop / Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using SITAs software development stack / development framework. 
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. 
• Develop a new software or enhancement using Delphi programming language. 
• Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are in operation. 
• Develop integrated Technical Service Specifications for single or multiple software components to clearly set direction for procuring or building software components. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3 years Diploma / Degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
• Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), within systems development, implementation and maintenance / enhancements of solutions in the corporate sector organisation. Advantageous working with Microsoft Power Applications and Business intelligence. 

Technical Competencies Description 

• Knowledge of: Understanding of computer science including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases. Understanding of the user requirement process. Understand various tools and techniques in identifying functional requirements of software. Knowledge of Governance e.g. Cobit and ITIL Knowledge of the software development process and its technologies Knowledge to design and develop test plans and software simulator to facilitate different levels of testing. Knowledge to report the results of different levels of testing report, the discrepancies between the software and its related documents. Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models. Understand the requirements for verification and validation of design documentations, verify and validate different levels of software/system design. Development methodologies (e.g. RUP, OpenUp, Agile), SDLC COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) Products Security (Software and Technologies). Software Development Fundamentals. Software Requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of software testing techniques and tools Comprehensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the major programming languages, HTML and JavaScript Skill, Java, Python, PHP, Net etc. Comprehensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the major database systems, MySQL, MsSQL, Oracle, Mongo, etc Comprehensive Team-working experience.

• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of the existing ones. 
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions.
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems. 
• Perform software systems coding assignments. 
• Supervision of the Software development team. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
• Experience: 6 - 7 Years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include Experience in solution analysis, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector, including: Successfully developed and implemented applications Software development team leadership competency Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Extensive experience with a wide variety of database management systems and maintenance. Extensive experience with a wide variety of programming languages and technologies. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum:3-year National Diploma/ Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, B Com etc) at NQF level 6. 
• Certification: CCNA 
• Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience in Wide Area Network (WAN) and Unified Communications (UC) Troubleshooting Technologies, Network Topologies, Network Design, Application Layer and Routing protocols.

Purpose of the job 

• To log, classify and categorize IT incidents and requests for IT clients, perform first line support and update calls accordingly, as well as to route call to next level support if not able to resolve.  

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Availability; Answer inbound calls; Quality of calls; Logged calls on ARS and/or ITSM; First call resolution rate; First Line Support; Post call Survey; Cut Calls. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: Matric (Grade 12) A+ or N+. 
• Experience: 6 months IT Service Desk/12 months Admin.

• Under supervision develop software or customize software which includes the full life cycle management of the solution to ensure standardisation which will enable the delivery of a high-quality solution and products for improved service delivery. 
• Under supervision coordinate software IT solutions implementations so as to meet service delivery commitments and to ensure specifications and standards are met. 
• Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are up and running. 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3 years Diploma / Degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
• Experience: 2 - 3 years’ experience within software development field, within systems development, implementation and maintenance / enhancements of solutions in the corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include: Experience within software development and Experience in data management.
