    Football Logistics Manager

    Key performance areas:

    • He/she should be committed to carry out all duties with which he/she is entrusted in order to ensure the successful participation of the team in question.
    • Always represent the team and the University positively when interacting with everyone and the public.
    • Manage the storeroom and record all the equipment (inventory)
    • Provide the required equipment during practices session and matches.
    • Make sure all the kit and equipment is signed for before you release them.
    • Collect all the kit and equipment after practice sessions or matches, and make sure all is in order.
    • Report all the missing equipment and broken equipment.
    • Provide the list of the equipment needed.
    • Manage all the kit (practice and game kit).
    • Keep the record of all the kit according to their colours and numbers.
    • Provide only the required kit for practice session or games

    Minimum Requirements:

    Academic qualifications:

    • Post matric qualification
    • National Diploma/Degree in Sport Management or sports-related qualification will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 2 years’(or more) experience as a football logistics manager
    • Experience in working with University sport team / ABC Motsepe league/ USSA /Varsity Football tournament will be added as an advantage
    • Proficiency in English;
    • Computer Literacy;
    • Basic first aid qualification 

    Other Requirements:

    • Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license;
    • No criminal record.

    Football Goalkeeper Coach

    Key performance areas:

    • To coach the TUT Men’s High-Performance Team Goalkeepers in the ABC
    • Motsepe League, Varsity Football Competition, USSA Football Competition, and other related competitions.
    • Effectively plan, deliver and evaluate goalkeeper coaching sessions in line with the club’s philosophy and coaching.
    • Implement the training programme for first team goalkeepers in association with the first team management staff.
    • Plan and organize trials for talent identification and recruitment of new goal keepers to the club.
    • Continuously look to identify opportunities to improve operations and practices in the goalkeeper coaching department
    • Promoting fair play
    • Resolving team issues and mentoring players
    • Be an example to the other technical team members and players to provide a positive atmosphere.
    • Provide reports on development of goalkeepers, matches, etc

    Minimum Requirements:

    Academic qualifications:

    • Post matric qualification
    • CAF D coaching license

     Experience

    • A minimum of 2 years’ (or more) experience as a football goalkeeper coach
    • Experience in ABC Motsepe league/ USSA / Varsity Football tournament will be added as an advantage
    • Computer Literacy.
    • Basic first aid qualification.

    Other requirements:

    • Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license

    Football Assistant Coach

    Key performance areas:

    • Assist the head coach to coach the team
    • He/she should under all circumstances carry out his/her duties with the necessary dignity.
    • He/she should be committed to carrying out all duties with which he/she is entrusted to ensure the successful participation of the team in question.
    • The Assistant Coach should be able to assist the Head Coach in planning, communicating, organising and being a father-figure/confessor.
    • Always represent the team and the University positively when interacting with everyone and the public.
    • Assist the Head Coach in coordinating the Team Program
    • Organise and direct individual and small group practice.
    • Assess player’s skills, monitor players during competition and practice, and keep records.
    • Assist the Head Coach with determining the game strategy.
    • Assist the Head Coach with supervising players during practices and competitions.
    • Follow established procedures in the event of a player’s injury.
    • Model’s sports-like behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, officials and spectators.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Academic qualifications:

    • CAF C coaching license
    • Post matric qualifications.

    Experience

    • 2 years’ (or more) experience as a football coach
    • Experience of coaching University football team / ABC Motsepe league/
    • USSA / Varsity Football tournament will be an advantage
    • Proficiency in English
    • Computer Literacy
    • Basic first aid qualification.

    Other requirements:

    • Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license.
    • No criminal record

    Part-Time Lecturers - Tourism Management

    Critical Performance Areas

    • Three years teaching and/or research experience at a tertiary institution will be required and/or industry-related experience.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other computer programs.
    • Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
    • Member of a professional body will be an added advantage.
    • Certificate in Assessors & Moderators course will be an added advantage.
    • Completion of a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory.

    Forestry Programme Coordinator
