    Psychologist-Alice Campus/East London Campus

    Purpose of the Role

    • Provide holistic mental health and wellness services to UFH students, contributing to their academic success, retention, and overall wellbeing.
    • Supervise intern psychologists and support graduate development through training and mentorship.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Master’s degree in counselling or clinical psychology
    • 4–5 years’ experience as a registered Counselling or Clinical Psychologist
    • 2+ years’ experience in higher education (Student Affairs experience is an advantage)
    • Knowledge of HPCSA regulations and ethical guidelines
    • Strong communication, psychotherapeutic, and crisis management skills

    Research Ethics Officer (Department of Research and Innovation)

    Minimum Requirements

    • Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in a relevant field
    • At least 2 years experience in the process of research ethics clearance of research projects in a Higher Education environment.

    Research Incentive Grants Officer (Department of Research and Innovation)

    Requirements

    • Honours degree
    • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
    • Experience in the process of applying DHET rules, monitoring research incentives, and financial accounting for awarded grants is essential
    • In-depth knowledge of DHET rules and processes relating to incentive grants and page fees

    Responsibilities

    Coordinating and screening research outputs for submission to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)

    • Facilitating the annual capturing of research outputs on the online system for all Faculties, Research Institutes, Research Centres, Research Chairs, Research Niche Areas, and other UFH research entities.
    • Verifying adherence to standards & rules

    Minimum Requirements

    Requirements

    • An Honours Degree; a Master’s Degree will be considered an added advantage.

     Responsibilities

    Funder Liaison:
