Responsibilities
 
Bookkeeping

• Full bookkeeping for business and trust accounts up to trial balance
• Day-end and month‑end processing
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Business bank recons on major banks
• Posting of business Journals/EFTS/Fees
• Posting of year-end Journals,
• General Ledger Reconciliations
• Trust interest and charges reconciliations
• Creditor reconciliations
• Knowledge of Sec 86(4) investments and processing in the various banks
• BEE yearly compilation and assistance
• SASSETA compilation and online submission
• VAT reconciliations and submissions
• Preparation for auditors
• Payroll
• Preparation of payroll on Sage Pastel Payroll for the company, including PAYE submission
• Basic HR administration, including leave records and employment documentation
• EMP 201 submissions and UIF electronic declarations
• EMP 501 bi-annual and annual submissions
• Annual COIDA returns

Requirements

• Tertiary Accounting qualification (Diploma or Degree)
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Senior Legal Bookkeeper role
• Solid understanding of trust accounting and legal compliance
• Experience working with Lawpac and Sage Payroll
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Well organised with strong communication skills

• Our client is seeking a commercially focused Sales Manager to manage key customer relationships, oversee sales operations, and support a high-performing sales team within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and food service clients
• Manage customer queries, escalations, and service delivery
• Oversee daily sales operations, including telesales and internal sales
• Supervise and support the sales team
• Monitor sales performance and assist with corrective actions where needed
• Oversee pricing, quotations, and order accuracy
• Coordinate with production and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, or related field (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, preferably within FMCG or food production
• Experience managing or supervising a sales team
• Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
• Good commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication, organisational, and relationship management skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
