    Cost Accountant

    Purpose of the Role:

    • To represent the Tea division within a team of Cost Accountants dedicated to the Spice division. Reporting to the General Manager of the division, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on all costs associated with the Tea business which is a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate costings, efficient and on-time submission of the usual month-end requirements, inventory controls, driving efficiencies and improvements and supporting Operational and Financial decision-making in the form of preparing reports and presentations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Costing & Analysis

    • Across all business department functions (covering Imports and Exports) including complex calcs

    Inventory & Production Accounting

    • Ensure effective management and accuracy (using Translution software system integrated with SYSPRO), Stock counts, Variances, Adjustments, Waste, Processes and Improvements

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Assist with annual setting for Purchasing, Operations and Selling as well as reviewing accuracy thereof

    Reporting & Monitoring

    • KPI tracking and reporting, Submission of information for business presentations. Translution User support and Championing

    Process Improvement

    • In all aspects of the business, help identify and support and/or drive initiatives agreed

    Compliance & Controls

    • Providing Finance teams accurate and on-time information relating to month end procedures and protocols. Government required reports (audited usage against Indigenous permits).
    • Review SOP documentation ensuring accuracy

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • BCOM Accounting/CIMA
    • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing costing
    • ERP system exposure (non-negotiable)
    • Strong engagement with operations
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes
    • Interest in systems and analytics tools such as Power BI advantageous

    Warehouse Supervisor

    • We are looking for a hands-on, system-driven individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and coordinate manufacturing and finished goods warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, blending, and dispatch.
    • Supervise warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
    • Ensure all inventory transactions are processed accurately in real time
    • Maintain stock accuracy and overall system integrity
    • Prepare for and supervise stock takes
    • Ensure warehouses are well organised, labelled, and compliant with standards
    • Drive adherence to procedures, policies, and factory rules
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
    • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements
    • Communicate effectively with internal departments
    • Host internal and external auditors as required

    Required Knowledge & Skills:

    • Strong people and process management ability
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Syspro knowledge advantageous
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Grade 12 qualification 
    • Certificate in Warehouse Management
    • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse environment

    HR Business Partner

    • A great opportunity has become available for an individual to join our HR Team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about HR and people processes and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Implementation, monitoring and reporting of the key HR Processes
    • Partnering with the business to provide effective HR advice and support to employees
    • Accurate application and compliance of HR processes to relevant statutory and legislative requirements

    Key Job Functions

    • Ensure company adherence to HR policies and processes
    • Drive and support the performance management process
    • Manage the recruitment process
    • Facilitation of the on-boarding and induction process including updating HR records
    • Implementation and monitoring of learnership, internship and skills programmes
    • Co-ordination and scheduling of training interventions in accordance with the training plan and business requirements
    • Run disciplinary hearings and facilitate warning allocations (act as the HR representative in enquiries as needed)
    • Support disciplinary matters, performance management processes and employee grievance meetings
    • Represent the Company at the CCMA as required
    • Attend and support employment equity and training committee meetings
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the union and/workplace committee
    • Execute HR improvement projects in line with driving a best practice people approach
    • HR reporting including Training, Employment Equity, BBBEE and ad hoc HR reporting as needed
    • Keep HR filing and administration up to date
    • Ensure that payroll is provided with the necessary employee information
    • Provide payroll support to managers as required

    Requirements

    • HR or relevant Diploma or Degree
    • 5-10 years of generalist HR experience
    • Experience with CCMA representation
    • Experience working within a FMCG environment
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
    • Working knowledge of HR legislation (BCEA, LRA, SDA, EEA, OHSA & COIDA)
    • Experience in submitting BBBEE, WSP& ATR and Employment Equity reports
    • Ability to work in a pressurized environment
