    Senior Brand Manager

    Job Description

    Required Skills

    Product Management

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Industrial and Milkcfiles Monthly industrial and Milk collection files reported internally and corporate level. Direct involvement with all the Plant Financial Manager and Production Accountants on the weekly and monthly reporting. Visiting all the plants at least once each Quarter treview the stock takes, reporting and balance sheet review. Work closely with Information Technology Department tenhance the reporting of the industrial files sthat there is more automation of information. Can be developed in BI-Cube or alternatively system reporting. Automation of industrial files where possible. Make the workload of Plant Financial Manager less on capturing but more on analysis. Involvement in CAPEX with ROI and the measurement of any savings coming from CAPEX identified projects. Ensure internal control procedures are in place within Industrial and Milk Collection Departments.
    • Drive continuous cost improvement initiatives and report savings.
    • Follow All the industrial Management Control activity:
    • Budget, forecasting and actual reporting: Complete monthly / weekly reports accurately and timely for Industrial and Milk Collection meetings.
    • Consolidation of the industrial and Milk Collection files for current month and previous month. Specific focus tbe placed on action plans and monitoring of actions in forthcoming months.
    • Upload monthly industrial and Milk collection files on IPM (Industrial Production Management) timeously on FTP site per accounting calendar.
    • Milk balance between Milk Collection and the Plants. Work closely with milk collection tunderstand the solids delivered tplant and impact. Review with Milk Collection on weekly basis the variances between Paid and Received.
    • Weekly reviewing the Mass Balance (GMP solids tracking) on the system with focus on daily disputes. Understanding the internal flow and analytical review done by internal laboratory.
    • Direct involvement with all the Plant Financial Manager and Production Accountants on the weekly and monthly reporting. Visiting all the plants at least once a year treview the stock takes, reporting and balance sheet review.
    • Enhancement of the labour tracking files and other KPI driven analysis i.e. raw material, DCO, chemicals, no-quality, packaging and ingredients reference tthe budgeted targets and previous year
    • Saving file is accurately compiled by the respective plants with focus on the KPI’s and not variances based on volume and price. Major focus point on a monthly basis will be the savings files versus previous year and budget tbe accurately compiled.
    • Opening of production items on the ERP system.
    • Milk price setting work with Milk Collection Executive timplement effective price management and control. Consider the seasonality of milk solids (fat/mat). Benchmarking with global milk prices and trends.
    • Milk price and volume forecast monthly with twelve monthly forward view considering seasonality and statistical data.
    • All internal processes tbe documented and review on a continual basis. Financials Review balance sheet reconciliations on monthly basis.
    • Review purchase price variances in Industrial versus Procurement with reconciliation between the twDepartments reporting. Review stock losses monthly. Review stock days on packaging, ingredients, consumables and spares. Review open orders on system. Review usage and price variances.
    • Budget
    • Assist with the consolidation of the budget and ensure variances are explainable on all the areas of the file.

    • Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Admin department with the main responsibilities for mass balance and GMP on the Plant.
