    Digital & Social Media Analyst

    YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • You will be responsible for reporting on social media activity across the social media landscape for multiple European markets.
    • Analyse social and digital data through a set of tools (Social Listening tools like Synthesio, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Competitive Analysis tools like Rival IQ, Audience Analysis tools like Profiler or Global Web Index, Trends and Search Analysis tools like SEMrush etc.) based on a client briefing.

    Senior Digital Strategist

    • The Senior Digital Strategist will be a key player of the C2 Intelligence Team in South Africa, increasing the awareness of our offering and growing the business. Reporting directly to Data & Intelligence Director. The Senior Digital Strategist will help the team deliver the work to the highest standards by building and leading data informed strategies.     About the role

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motion/Animation Designer to join our team at Ogilvy South Africa. The ideal candidate has a great creative sense of social platforms and how to build all kinds of social media assets. The successful candidate should not only feel at home in terms of craftsmanship but also creatively in common programs such as Aftereffects, Premiere, Cinema 4D, and also in other programs such as Unreal or AI. They must be able to independently realize projects from (moving image) concepts to editing. Skills in UI/UX design are welcome but not a MUST. Ideally, they should have an understanding of creative communication in general.

    Social First Account Manager

    • Ogilvy Social.Lab is looking for an Senior Account Manager, with a strong digital background, specialising in a social-first approach, to manage organic social deliverables, as well as developing and nurturing the relationship with our Verizon International client. 
    • This role involves meticulous planning and follow-up. Crucial to this position is a comprehensive understanding and deep appreciation of social media dynamics, including an in-depth knowledge of the main features, advantages, and limitations across major social platforms.  The role requires close collaboration with our strategy, creative and production team to deliver best in class content. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive organic social media strategies tailored to their objectives, target audience, and budget. 
    • Act as the client’s trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance with insight into social media, particularly B2B, best practice and performance, providing opinions about the brief and the work and being keen to contribute. 
    • Manage the curation and development of content, with a specific B2B focus on LinkedIn.

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • A minimum of 4 years specialising in social media account management, preferable extending to 8 years in a client service environment. Experience of B2B organic social media, and knowledge of LinkedIn, is also an advantage.  
    • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, main features, their respective algorithms, and best practices for content creation and optimization. 
    • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics). 
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies effectively. 
    • Skillful project management .
