    Millwright

    Purpose of the job

    • To maintain Plant and Equipment in accordance with standards operating procedures. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on the plant.
    • Maintain maintenance connection works orders and Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
    • Create site reports and update Maintenance Connection of any Equipment change on site
    • Carry out routine inspections and functionality checks as per schedule on different plant sections and raise a works order for defects/out of calibration equipment. 
    • Pneumatic and Electronic calibrations
    • Installation and maintenance of Analog Gauges/Indicators
    • Fault finding on instrument loops and electrical circuits 
    • Panel design and wiring
    • Remove and replace control valves and electric motors 
    • Execute works orders and scheduled task as per CMMS 
    • Dispose unwanted articles/scrap in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
    • Perform standby on a rotational basis
    • Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained

    Qualifications and experience

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Trade-tested Millwright

    Human Capital Coordinator - Fixed Term Contract

    Purpose of the job:

    • To provide general day-to-day administration and co-ordination of ongoing Human Capital activities in line with policy, legislation, and people requirements.

    Required outputs: Functional

    Purpose of the job

    • General maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment in a plant and workshop environment.Provide instrumentation support to plant.

    Supply Planner (Emulsifiers)

    Main Role Purpose:

    •  To ensure all local Raw Materials are procured timeously for forecasted production
    •  To ensure all customer demand are planned for production accordingly to meet the goal of delivering on time in full
    •  Monitoring of Stock levels for ISO contained stocks 
    •  Controlling of main site stock counts  

    Role Objectives: Functional  

    •  To manage all bulk tank stock levels
    •  To coordinate the stock movements physically and systematically for all bulk stocks at outside warehouse
    •  To create all purchase requisitions  for stock(local & import)
    •  Manage all daily activities on SAP using MD07
    •  Deal with local Suppliers & service providers on a daily basis around stocks and services pertaining to these stocks
    •  Receive all local and export production orders, checks stocks and incorporate into production
    •  Choosing of vessels to meet production plan for export orders
    •  Generate weekly production plan including raws to be received
    •  Co-ordinate Sales and operations meeting and ensure that weekly plan is followed

    •  Maintain minimum levels on  Critical Packaged  Raw Material levels
    •  Stock Controller for monthly bulk/packaged/engineering counts

    Quality Control Laboratory Analyst Specialist

    Purpose of the job

    • To control and operate plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to defined quality specifications.Must report and investigate deviations from normal conditions and be able to deal with basic process upsets

    Required outputs: Functional

    Engineering Services Superintendent

    Purpose of the Job

    • To provide Engineering expertise, control and co-ordination of Engineering Maintenance, World Class, SHE, Training and field breakdown support services to plants and Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU’s).

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide supervision and ensure that scheduled and routine maintenance on MMUs and LDV’s, machinery and equipment are conducted.
    • Perform engineering inspections, identify problem areas and implement pro-active maintenance and plant improvement corrective action.
    • Optimise vehicle reliability by continually improving the preventative maintenance system through the identification of opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide appropriate and adequate feedback and input to the Engineering Manager with respect to plant condition, spares and scheduling requirements, and repairs carried out.
    • Perform safety and health inspections and implement corrective action.
    • Ensure that housekeeping on plant, site and all subsidiary equipment is up to standard.
    • Ensure availability of a fleet of MMU’s, distribution plant and associated in-pit vehicles.
    • The position is responsible for maintaining a fast field support service to Plants; MMU’s and associated equipment at the mine.
    • The position will manage and consolidate all contractor work.
    • The position might be required to assist in other regions.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Mechanical/Electrical Qualification, with at least 5 years’ experience at least 5 years’ experience at a supervisory level in engineering maintenance field.
    • Must have a working knowledge of the OHS act and Explosive regulations.
    • Experience in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Hydraulic Systems 
    • Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence and be able to pass a driver assessment.
    • Must be a qualified artisan (Red Seal)

    Required outputs: Functional

    • To assist the MMU Controller in managing and operating all aspects of a mobile manufacturing unit (MMU – BLEND truck) in order to meet the customer requirements with the standards and procedures as defined by AECI (OTIF).
    • To Assist the MMU Controller in the carrying out of regular inspections in terms of SABS and World Class on fixed plant and MMUs to identify non-conformances and institute preventative measures as well as to achieve continuous improvement.
    • Assist in all blasting related functions required (for example, measuring holes, closing or stemming of charged holes, guarding, cleaning etc.)
    • Housekeeping at Site
    • Cleanliness of wash bay and truck park
    • Cleanliness of trucks
    • Loading and unloading of products into trucks
    • Assist in charging up duties on the bench
    • Assist in closing or stemming of charged holes.
    • Loading and unloading of packaged explosives and accessories
    • To observe all legal requirements while at the depot
    • To ensure MMU’s are always kept clean according to the World Class Standards

    Stock Controller

    Purpose of the job:

    • To do day to day execution of the stock management process to ensure reconciliation between stock documentation, physical stock and system (SAP) accuracy.
