    Legal Officer

    Stakeholder Relations and Communication Manager

    Minimum Qualification:

    • Degree in Communication/Marketing/Journalism or equivalent (NQF 7)

    Minimum Experience:

    • 7 years post graduate experience in broad-spectrum in marketing, corporate communications, planning, stakeholder relations and media relations, 5 years at management level.

    Key Outputs:

    Company Secretary

    Minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Law (NQF 7) or equivalent
    • Registration with a relevant and recognised professional body
    • Registration as a Chartered Secretary will be an added advantage
    • Admission as an Advocate/Attorney will be an added advantage

    Minimum Experience:

    Key Outputs:

    Reporting to the Chief Executive, the appointee will:

    • Lead the effective and efficient provision of Board and governance support services to the Board and Board Committees
    • Ensure that minutes of all Shareholders, Board meetings and meeting of any Board committees are correctly and accurately recorded.
    • Plan and design the Board and its committee meetings agenda and prepare meetings packs in consultation with the CE and Chair of the Board.

    • Formulate, manage, and control all related annual operating and CAPEX budgets
    • Compile annual budgets for the unit and monitor utilization against baseline

    Demand Management Officer

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business/Public Management related qualification

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business/Public Management related qualification

    Minimum Experience:

    Plant Superintendent

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 (or NTC III) plus operator’s certificate or Grade 12 (or NTC III) in Water and Wastewater Treatment practice N3 (with 15 years’ experience)/or
    • National Diploma or equivalent field (with 6 years’ experience) in water and/or wastewater treatment process/or
    • Tech or 4 years BSc (both in appropriate field) (with 4 years’ experience)/or
    • Professional Engineer (Act 81 of 1968) in appropriate field or Natural Scientist (Act of 55 of 1982) in appropriate field (with 3 years’ service)
    • In addition, the incumbent must be registered as a Class V process controller.

    Added advantage:

    • Relevant qualification in ND Water Care/Chemical Engineering

    Minimum Experience:

    • 15 years for candidate that possess N3 Certificate
    • 06 years for candidate that possess National diploma/or
    • 04 years for candidate that possess BTech or BSC/or
    • 03 years for candidate that possess Professional Engineer/Natural Scientist

    Key Outputs:

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the appointee will:

    • Implement business plans at one or multiple works in the region to provide a reliable water supply and/or effluent discharge.
    • Control business risk by ensuring that AW meet SANS 241 for WTW and General Authorization for WWTW.
    • Monitor continuous water demand.
    • Ensure that infrastructure, WTWs, WWTWs and equipment operate to specified standards to meet demands

    Demand Administrator

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Matric Certificate
    • 1 Year certificate in SCM/ Procurement/ Administration or equivalent

    Preferred Qualification:

    Contracts Administrator

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Degree in Law / Commerce / Project Management

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3 years’ experience in Contracts Administration including drafting, monitoring, evaluation of contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s); understanding contract registers, contract expenditure and payments; knowledge of contract management, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), contract management framework, knowledge of construction contracts and project management

    Key Outputs:

    General Worker – Nahoon WTW

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Grade 10

    Minimum Experience:

    • Knowledge of general work at Dams to maintain property, plant and equipment

    Key Outputs:

    Reporting to the Plant Superintendent the employee will:

    • Perform general work at   water   treatment   plants/ dams/ pipelines
    • Carry out   general   work   g. sweeping   floors, windows and machinery   of   a water   treatment   works pump stations 
    • See to the upkeep of grounds and surroundings, cut grass and clean flowerbeds
    • Transport chemicals for dosage from the chemicals storage area to the dosing point and clean storage area
    • Clean galleries sumps, reservoirs and overflow weirs
    • Carry out additional work; e.g. Painting, scrubbing etc.
    • Provide support with reservoir maintenance requirements
    • Clean sedimentation tanks, sterilising filters and desludging sedimentation tanks
    • Removal of algal build-up on water flow channels.
    • Dig trenches and repair pipelines when necessary.
    • Adhere to all security matters at the WTW
    • Wash vehicles, change of damaged tyres as per instruction to maintain vehicles
