Purpose of the Job
- Provide support to all business units on the Syspro ERP system. Analyse current Syspro ERP processes, procedures and strategies to design, build and implement new solutions while optimising existing business processes. Assist the Finance department with audit reporting and ensure the ERP environment supports operational and business requirements.
Context of the Job
The Senior Syspro Analyst reports to the IT Manager: Business Systems & Automation and is responsible for:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line Syspro support.
- Logging and following up on tickets with the Syspro Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
- Identifying Syspro training requirements and facilitating user training.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the ERP environment.
- Participating in ERP-related projects and system enhancements.
- Undertaking any reasonable duties within the IT function.

Additional Role Information Syspro Environment
- The business is currently operating on Syspro 6.
- A migration to Syspro 8 is planned and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
- Candidates with experience in Syspro 8 will be highly advantageous and will be well positioned to support the migration and ongoing optimisation of the ERP environment.
Warehouse Management Systems (Highly Advantageous)
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integrated with Syspro will be a significant advantage.
- Examples include:
- DataScope
- Sage WMS
- TransLution
- Other Warehouse Management System integrations with Syspro
- Candidates with WMS implementation, support or integration experience will be viewed favourably.
Travel Requirements
- Travel requirements are relatively minimal and primarily involve travel between the company's manufacturing sites.
- Travel is generally required approximately one day per week, depending on business requirements.
- Occasional travel to other regional sites or the head office may be required for project or business-related activities. These trips are typically completed within the same day, although overnight travel may occasionally be necessary.
