    Junior Aviation Technician (Mechanical)-SVM

    Description

    • Conduct line maintenance inspections;
    • Conduct routine inspections on various mechanical systems on the aircraft;
    • Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
    • Perform A-checks including weekly service checks;
    • Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
    • Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
    • Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards;
    • Assist the Production Controller in implementing and maintaining company policies, procedures, and systems related to aircraft maintenance;
    • All activities must be properly recorded and signed off, as per SACAA requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are complied with;
    • Health and Safety requirements must always be complied with to ensure Personal and other Personnel Safety, Fire and Accident/ Incident preventions;
    • Ensure that the work area, equipment, and tooling are properly maintained and safe prior to starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff;
    • Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;
    • Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Trade test certificate;
    • Minimum of 2 years aviation maintenance experience (Essential);
    • Previous experience working as an Aviation Technician on B737 — 400 and 800 (Advantageous);
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
    • Outlook and PowerPoint);
    • Previous Line Maintenance experience (Advantageous);
    • Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, on public holidays, and overtime as required from time to time;
    • Must be available and willing to travel at short notice, both locally and internationally;
    • Valid South African passport holder;

    Customer Service Agent (Temporary) - Durban

    Description

    • Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings and flight changes including explaining rules, terms and conditions, regulations and procedures as and when required;
    • Assist customers when there are flight disruptions and/or cancellations;

    Ramp Agent - Durban

    Description

    • Ensure safety regulations is adhered at all times regarding Dangerous Goods;
    • Ensure general safety and security around the aircraft;
    • Liaise between crew and ground handler to obtain boarding clearance for passengers;
    • Monitor the loading and offloading of baggage and cargo;
    • Advise ground handling partner of any load changes;
    • Ensure effective turnarounds/reducing delays by ensuring that all handling agents and service providers are in place tor arrivals;
    • Conduct ramp safety audits when required;
    • Ensure ramp vehicles are clean and fueled;
    • Pick up and drop off crew as and when required;
    • Monitor flight operations to ensure on-time-performance is met;
    • Allocate delays as and when required;
    • Assist with crew requests, such as coordinating clean-up services, providing water, and managing restroom facilities;
    • Ensure all service providers are present as required per flight I.e. ACSA, fuel handler, etc.;

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Airline/Aviation environment (Passenger Services and/or Ramp Services and/or Baggage Handling);
    • Code 08 Drivers License (Essential);
    • No criminal record;
    • Airside knowledge, have knowledge of airport operations;

    Warehouse Assistant

    Description

    • Move inventory and materials across facilities;
    • Process inventory for delivery;
    • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location;
    • Package items and label it correctly;
    • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors;

    General Distribution System Coordinator

    Description

    • Handle, resolve and escalate Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP), GDS complaints, requests and queries;
    • Issue Agent Debit Memo (ADM) and Agent Credit Memo (ACM);
    • Resolve ADM disputes;
    • Investigate and resolve travel agent queries with regard to incorrect re-issue transactions and void exchange coupons;
    • Action and resolve GDS held/rejected payment report;

    Line Warehouse Controller

    Description

    • Responsible for spares movements between the relevant base and other stations;
    • Ensure that all data is promptly entered into the stock management system (ERP) to maintain accurate information at all times;
    • To comply with Work Instructions, ensure parts are sorted into their designated areas immediately upon receipt;
    • Conduct weekly cycle counts as well as other random counts to ensure stock accuracy is maintained;
    • Keep accurate records and file all relevant documentation pertaining to spare parts movements;
    • Create documentation for shipping purposes (COMAT) as well as packaging as per general practise or as required by Work Instructions;
    • Responsible for tools and other equipment in the station;
    • Responsible to manage shelf-life items for tools, consumables and rotables as prescribed by Work Instructions;
    • Responsible for loading of required spares on the requisition system;
    • Update the ERP system once spares are received to improve visibility throughout our ERP system;
    • Daily housekeeping must be performed, and a high standard maintained;
    • Ensure unserviceable spares are routed to minimise turnaround time and decrease repair cycle;
    • Manage stock levels for both consumables and rotables;
    • Address all requests for spares received through the requisition system, email, phone calls, or WhatsApp;
    • Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by the Supervisor;
    • Ensure that access to the warehouse is controlled at all times;
    • Daily reporting will be conducted after each shift, with ad-hoc reporting as needed;
    • Assist with loading and offloading of spares on the aircrafts;
    • Assist with all queries on spares in the station;
    • Following up on quarantine spares.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Forklift license (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 2-3 years in Warehouse (Essential);

    Cabin Services Administrator

    Description

    • Maintain cabin crew personnel records;
    • Assist with Grooming for the Crew i.e. dress code, hygiene etc;
    • Provide administrative support in the updating of manuals and other documents as and when required;
    • Assist with capturing Flight Reports and Attendance Registers;
    • Work with Human Resources to ensure relevant information is shared and distributed with new cabin crew employment;
    • Coordinate new Employee On boarding;
    • Ensure integration of all new cabin crew across all departments (i.e. includes all Uniform, parking, issuing of IPad, any Training related documents and rostering requirements);
    • Preparation of Documentation, copies of Licenses, Medicals and Certificates for Crew;

    • Filing of all disciplinary records;
    • Daily administration of leave applications;
    • Contact crew to obtain information i.e. confirmation, sick notes, relevant documents etc;
    • Compile meeting minutes;
    • Assist with obtaining flight delay feedback from the cabin crew;
    • Assist in collecting Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback from the cabin crew;
    • Support the recruitment process by scheduling ICFA interviews and reserving a venue for the interviews;
    • Arrange meetings between cabin crew and assistant managers;
    • Assist with tracking late arrivals of cabin crew and obtaining feedback regarding passenger complaints;
    • Assist with managing and calculating the cabin crew headcount;
    • Ensure compliance as it relates to Flight Operations processes and standards as delegated by Management;
    • Assist with implementation of relevant procedures, standards, specifications and guidelines within Flight Operations.

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years Administration experience (Essential);
    • Previous operations experience (Beneficial);
