    Senior Specialist: Product Mobile Business

    Role Description

    • In conjunction with the LIT Executive Management Team, participates in and develops the 3 to 5-year Strategic Plan for the Mobile market. Develop and grow the Mobile business. Develop, design and formulate key strategic mobile sales and sets BU directional goals and objectives. Increase Mobile Sales Revenue, in line with set targets. Provide leadership on managing customers and resolve customer issues while maintaining and growing existing customer base and managing churn.
    • Develop granular monthly, weekly, daily plans to ensure revenue targets are achieved for the Mobile business. Develop customer data-driven strategies across the sales segments to build stronger relationships with our customers and higher levels of loyalty.
    • Develop plans to create and grow new business sales. Negotiate and manage contracts and authorizes new business contracts to increase revenue.
    • Develop and oversees Customers’ acquisition plans and implementation to achieve the targets in the Sales Plan through direction to the Sales teams. Channel Management and Stakeholders Relationships. Works with our company stakeholders on our wireless spectrum assets.
    • Identifies, engages and builds relationships with strategic channel stakeholders to assist in the growth and future revenue. Evaluates sales and channel models and their performance and directs implementation of cost effective and efficient models. Develops and ensures the implementation of the strategies for new channels/partners and incentive schemes.
    • Lead our product and pricing evolution in the Mobile Business space. Develop and implement pricing strategy to ensure LiT remain relevant & profitable in the marketMobile Product development & Lifecycle management. Develop GTM strategy to support mobile product rollout & uptake. Responsible to develop mobile & fixed wireless access Device strategy and roadmap. Support legal, governance & complainants
    • Responsible for building a team for the Mobile Business with the necessary skills & experience to deliver on performance targets. Responsible for staff evaluation, identifies performance strengths and deficiencies, and arranges for necessary corrective action. Manages team in line with the company’s polices and procedures

    • Matric: Essential
    • Relevant B.Sc. or BCom degree: Essential
    • Post Graduate Degree: Essential
    • Maximum of 5years Proven leadership track record on executive level: Essential
    • Maximum of 5 years' Experience in managing and working through Channel/Partners: Desirable

    Senior Engineer: Mobile Core Network

    Role Description

    • Develop and design end-to-end 4G/5G core network solutions, with a focus on MOCN and roaming scenarios. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in network designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network design with business requirements. Traffic model and Capacity Management is required to ensure that the network nodes and links are adequately sized.     • Deploy and integrate core network components, working closely with vendors and partners. Able to configure all components of the Mobile Core 4/5G network
    • Ensure seamless integration with other MNOs for national roaming on 4G/5G networks. Define and Complete all integration testing with Provisioning, Charging and RAN,Signalling Protocols: In-depth knowledge of key signalling protocols, including:4G (LTE): S1AP, X2AP, GTP, Diameter, SCTP, SIP.5G: NGAP, XnAP, HTTP/2, PFCP, SBI.
    • Perform network performance analysis and optimization to enhance coverage, capacity, and quality of service. Implement optimization strategies for MOCN and roaming scenarios. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operation. Provide regular reporting of the whole network and the FWA Service. Review and report on network usage and customer usage.
    • Stay updated with the latest advancements in MOCN and RAN technologies and standards. Implement MOCN on other MNOs' RAN infrastructure. Ensure proper configuration and management of shared RAN resources. Setting up the correct pooling and high availability configurations between the Mobile Core and RANEnsure seamless mobility between 4G/5G sites.
    • Implement and manage IP networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) to ensure efficient data flow. Configure and troubleshoot IP routers, switches, and firewallsEnsure robust IP network design to support core network operations. Setting up of DNS servers including setting up authoritative and caching DNS serversCustomize solutions to meet specific requirements and resolve integration issues.
    • Create technical documentation, including network diagrams and guidelines. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers. Maintain up-to-date records of network configurations and changes.

    • In-depth understanding of 4G and 5G core network technologies, including EPC, IMS, and telecom call flow/processes: Essential
    • 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying mobile core network solutions, with a focus on MOCN and roaming scenarios:Essential
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, 3GPP) are a plus: Desirable
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Essential
    • Maximum of 3 years' Experience with network virtualization, NFV (Network Functions Virtualization), and cloud-native architectures: Essential
