    Store Manager - PEP Clothing 6188 Mountain Mill Mall Worcester (Boland)

    Description

    • PURPOSE OF POSITION: Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation

    Senior Image Retoucher (Northern Suburbs (Cape))

    Purpose of the job 

    • Responsible for leading the post-production and retouching function by delivering high-quality, customer-facing imagery for our website, and social media platforms. This role combines hands-on image retouching with leadership responsibilities, ensuring all visual assets meet brand standards, quality expectations, and production deadlines while supporting continuous improvement in studio workflows.

    Requirements
    Key Responsibilities

    E-commerce & Social Media Image Retouching:

    • Lead the retouching and finishing of high-volume e-commerce product and on-model imagery.
    • Perform advanced retouching, including skin retouching while maintaining natural skin texture.
    • Execute colour correction, clipping paths, compositing, image clean-up, cropping, resizing, and final image preparation.
    • Ensure all imagery is colour accurate, commercially appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
    • Optimise images for web, marketplace platforms, and other digital channels.
    • Maintain consistency across all published imagery through established quality control procedures.

    Image Quality and Post-production:

    • Oversee the quality assurance process for all retouched images prior to publication.
    • Ensure adherence to published quality control measures and sign-off procedures.
    • Build composites and execute creative image manipulation where required.
    • Support creative concepts through advanced image editing and finishing techniques.
    • Maintain exceptional standards for composition, colour, exposure, and image consistency.

    Workflow, Systems & Operations:

    • Manage large-volume retouching workflows while maintaining quality and turnaround times.
    • Adhere to file management, server structures, naming conventions, version control, and archive procedures.
    • Record production output accurately within job and time management systems.
    • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiencies through automation, AI tools, and process improvements.
    • Assist in maintaining image libraries and digital asset management systems.

     Leadership & Mentorship:

    • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and technical support to the Image Retouching team.
    • Mentor junior retouchers and provide coaching on best practices and quality standards.
    • Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines, studio processes, and production timelines.
    • Support onboarding and training of new team members where required.
    • Collaborate with the Photography Lead, Stylists, Production Manager, and Studio teams to ensure seamless production workflows.

    Studio Culture & Collaboration

    •  Participate in regular studio meetings, creative reviews, and workflow planning sessions.
    • Build strong working relationships with photographers, stylists, brands, suppliers, and production teams.
    • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and solution-focused studio culture.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the studio and post-production teams.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
    • 5+ years' relevant experience in high-volume e-commerce image retouching and post-production.
    • Proven experience within a fashion retail or e-commerce environment.
    • Video editing Advantageous 
    • Expert proficiency in Adobe Software..
    • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Capture One, and Lightroom.
    • Advanced experience in skin retouching while maintaining natural texture.
    • Excellent colour correction and colour management skills for digital applications.
    • Strong understanding of composition, cropping, image enhancement, and image optimisation.
    • Experience with compositing, image manipulation, and advanced finishing techniques.
    • Knowledge of large-volume workflow management and digital asset management.
    • Experience with AI-assisted retouching, automation tools, and image upscaling will be advantageous.
    • Understanding of fashion styling and garment presentation will be advantageous.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Traffic Manager (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Purpose of the job 

    • Responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow, scheduling, and asset delivery pipeline within the photography studio, ensuring the efficient movement of products and digital assets from warehouse intake through photography, post-production, and final publication. This role serves as the operational hub between Merchandising, Styling, Photography, Retouching, Creative, Digital, and AI-assisted production teams, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, to brand standards, and within production deadlines.

    Requirements
    Key Responsibilities

    Workflow Planning & Traffic Management:

    • Manage the daily intake, scheduling, and prioritisation of all photography and post-production requests. 
    • Coordinate the movement of samples from Merchandise  through styling, photography, retouching, quality control, and final delivery. 
    • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure optimal studio utilisation and on-time delivery. 
    • Monitor project timelines, identify workflow bottlenecks, and implement solutions to minimise delays. 
    • Balance competing priorities across multiple brands, campaigns, product launches, and seasonal deadlines. 
    • Ensure production workflows align with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and business priorities. 

    Photographer Coordination & Studio Management:

    • Coordinate daily studio schedules, ensuring photographers, stylists, models, and studio resources are effectively allocated. 
    • Partner with the Photography Lead to establish realistic daily production targets based on shoot complexity. 
    • Allocate photographers according to their technical expertise and project requirements. 
    • Coordinate studio set changes, ensuring efficient transitions between shoots. 
    • Ensure photographers follow established file naming conventions, metadata standards, backup procedures, and digital asset management protocols. 
    • Monitor studio productivity and recommend workflow improvements to maximise output. 

    Retouching & Post-Production Management:

    • Act as the primary liaison between Photography and the Image Retouching team. 
    • Ensure all approved image selections, retouching briefs, and production notes are accurately communicated to post-production. 
    • Manage internal and external retouching capacity to meet production deadlines. 
    • Prioritise retouching workloads based on business priorities, product launches, and promotional campaigns. 
    • Coordinate freelancer bookings during peak production periods where required. 
    • Route retouched imagery for review and approval, consolidating stakeholder feedback into clear revision instructions. 
    • Monitor revision cycles to ensure efficient delivery while maintaining quality standards. 

    Operations & Process Management:

    • Monitor production workflows, turnaround times, and delivery performance across the studio. 
    • Ensure adherence to studio processes, file management protocols, version control, and digital asset management standards. 
    • Generate production reports, monitor studio output, and provide regular status updates to management. 
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through workflow optimisation, automation, and AI-enabled production tools. 
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across photography and post-production operations. 

    Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

    • Act as the central point of communication between Merchandising, Buying, Styling, Photography, Creative, Digital, Retouching, and Production teams. 
    • Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating production schedules, priorities, and delivery timelines. 
    • Build effective relationships with freelance photographers, retouchers, agencies, and external suppliers. 
    • Escalate production risks and capacity constraints proactively to management. 

    Leadership & Team Support:

    • Provide day-to-day coordination and operational guidance across studio production teams. 
    • Support onboarding and training on studio workflows, production systems, and operational processes. 
    • Promote adherence to production standards, quality expectations, and delivery deadlines. 
    • Foster a collaborative, solutions-driven studio environment focused on continuous improvement. 

    Studio Culture & Collaboration:

    • Knowledge of fashion production processes, studio operations, and merchandising workflows.
