    Shift Leader: Physical Security

    Purpose of the job

    • To provide an efficient and professional physical security service at all allocated SITA buildings in order to protect and safeguard life, assets and property.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Ensure compliance to security operational deployment plans.
    • Ensure the effective and safe utilisation of security infrastructure, systems and resources
    • Ensure compliance to quality security standards.
    • Assist with risk assessments to determine security threats and assuring current security measures meet security policies and standards.
    • Ensure that all Physical Security, environmental risks and threats that had been identified are addressed as per
    • policies and procedures and ensure the building comply with Building Safety requirements.
    • Ensure compliance to security policies and procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a relevant recognised course (shorter than a year at NQF level 4-certificate of competence) –depending on operational requirements.
    • Experience: 0 – 1 years’ experience applicable to the specified discipline. Understand the basic theoretical reasoning and detailed practical applications behind the process or system.

    Technical Competencies Description

    • Knowledge of: Risk Identification. Security supervision of a shift. Application of Safety, Health and Environmental regulations. Understanding of physical security policies and procedures. Supervision of Contract staff. PSIRA Grade A Certificate.
    • Technical competencies: Business Writing and Facilities management.

    Computer Operator (Mainframe)

    Purpose of the job

    • Scheduling of mainframe production tasks and the efficient application of mainframe facilities in order to ensure optimal availability of systems to the client/users.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Mainframe task scheduling.
    • Mainframe administration and housekeeping.
    • Mainframe problem solving.
    • Mainframe client liaison.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: 1 - 2-year National Higher Certificate in an ICT related field and/or equivalent / NQF level 5 or accredited specialised courses.
    • Experience: 1 - 2 years’ experience in an End User Computing environment 1 – 2 years’ experience as a Computer Operator.

    Technical Competencies Description

    Project Manager

    Purpose of the job

    • To manage SITA internal/external project(s) following the SITA project management methodology, within a defined service/product/customer Portfolio.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Effectively applies project management principles to initiate and plan the project.
    • Manage product delivery to ensure successful delivery of the project.
    • Monitor and Control project activities to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives within budget, scope, time and quality according to plan
    • Monitor and control project costs and revenue to ensure delivery of the project within budget and profitability guidelines
    • Monitor and Control project risks and issues; and Close Project according to company policy.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: 3-year National Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline - at NQF level 6.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner/Foundation Certification and/or Agile PM Practitioner/Foundation would be an added advantage.
    • Experience: A minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in a project management environment or relevant discipline, including: 3 years as project management experience 2 years in relevant discipline

    Technical Competencies Description

    • Knowledge of: Public/private sector; Information Technology management; ICT Services; Project Management; PPM methodologies (PMBOK, Agile PM and Prince 2); PPM Governance. Computer Literacy: MS Office; MS Projects.

    Executive: Human Capital Management

    Purpose of the job

    • To lead, manage and monitor the organisational transformation programs, provide strategic human capital management services in alignment with the corporate strategy to ensure that SITA attracts, builds, and retains talent.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Develop and monitor the implementation of the Human Capital Strategies (aligned to the Corporate Strategy) and guide the provision of integrated Human Capital Management services 
    • Lead and monitor the implementation of integrated human capital management solutions to ensure that SITA has appropriate human capital management Interventions 
    • Guide and monitor the implementation and provision of employee wellness services to assist employees with wellness needs 
    • Guide and monitor and manage the implementation of sound employee relations 
    • Guide and monitor the provision of Organisational Development (OD) solutions to ensure that SITA has appropriate Organizational structures, competencies, business processes and utilizes the best fit change management methodologies and tools 
    • Drive the development and implementation of an integrated talent management strategy • Ensure effective management of resources (i.e. budget/finances, asset) within the Unit.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology / Organisational Development / Business Administration or related field 
    • A Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology /Organisational Development / Business Administration or related field will be preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Capital Management 
    • Minimum 5 years at Senior Management / Leadership level 
    • Proven experience leading HCM in a large, complex organisation 
    • Demonstrated experience in Board, HR&RemCo and EXCO 
    • Experience within public sector or State-Owned Entity environment (advantageous).

    Stock Controller

    Purpose of the job

    • To provide an administrative support the receiving, packaging, issuing and stock Control of goods and consumables to keep a record of all stock available in line with set requirements (Financial & Internal Business Processes).

    Senior Internal Auditor x3

    Purpose of the job

    • Co-ordinates audit procedures and processes, monitoring compliance and, conducting investigations and risk analysis to determine the extent of variation or non-conformance to statutory requirements, policies and procedures, preparing and presenting comments and opinions and providing guidance on the interpretation of principles to enable re alignment of functions and responsibilities ensuring the activities of SITA are conducted and concluded in a credible manner.

    • Experience: 3-4 years' Auditing experience. The incumbent will be required to engage with various stakeholders/role players and to travel nationally/internationally, as and when required.

    Knowledge and Technical Competencies

    • Knowledge of the Auditing process, applications and principles to enable analysis, evaluation and reporting;
    • Understanding of various and relevant legislation; Performance Audit Principles; Professional Standards for the

    Technical Manager: Applications

    Purpose of the job

    • The manage, monitor, improve the operational activities of the ERP Internal business unit including the technical team, projects, processes, audits, reporting and financial management etc.

    Key Responsibility Area

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum: 3 – 4 Year National Diploma / Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6.
    • Certification: Vendor certification for applications will be an added advantage.
    • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the ICT field, including IT Governance, Planning, systems development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with leadership, management, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation
    • including: minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervision/management/leadership level role. Experience should include the following: Application Lifecycle Management, System Development Life Cycle, Governance processes.
    • Experience with large to very large enterprise environments which include multiple site locations.
    • Experience or Exposure in technical development or exposure.
    • Experience in managing teams and presenting the business unit reports.
    • Experience in preparing technical design, training, and deployment documentation.
    • Understanding and Experience in Integrations or systems.
    • Extensive experience in interacting with customers or stakeholders.
    • Experience / Exposure in Project Management and its methodologies.

    Technical Competencies Description
