Job Description

Overseeing all scales, product distribution- and inkjet printing machinery throughout the processing plant and making sure that the scales are working properly.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
• N2 Certificate - Electrical or Mechanical.
• 1 - 2 Years’ experience as Scale Technician.
• FMCG experience will be advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime incl. shifts, weekends/ holidays when required.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintaining and servicing of weighing and inkjet equipment in the Processing Plant.
• Assist with inspections as per job card issued.
• Assist with daily paperwork before end of shift (check sheet, job cards).
• Maintenance of scale equipment on weekends as per shift roster.
• Assist with installation measures to reduce downtime.
• Assist with any other work or breakdown as instructed by shift coordinator or engineering manager.
• Any other duties as may be required by line manager.
