    Administration Supervisor - Kathu

    Purpose of Role: 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct supervision and co-ordination of warehouse, sales & services administrative support teams, ensuring adherence to admin procedures in line with branch requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.  Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites at all times.  Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.
    • Effectively manage administrative and warehouse staff in line with company objectives
    • Manage the order book (input & output), order book alignment, accuracy, quotations, expediting and on time delivery (OTD) for the branch or region
    • Supervise workshop loading and routing, allocation of service jobs and processing of all repair work
    • Attend to and resolve customer queries
    • Manage stock levels, excess stock and slow moving/obsolete stock (SLOB) on a monthly/quarterly basis for the branch or region
    • Manage debtors to not exceed the KPI, blocked accounts and collections
    • Manage branch expenditure and recoveries
    • Manage and ensure that GIT (goods in transit) and GDNI (goods delivered not invoiced) is cleared at all times and within business requirements
    • Assist branch management with reports and forecasting to achieve branch targets
    • Co-ordinate and manage internal administrative branch reports as per business requirements

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

    • Business Administration & Management diploma or any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above
    • High level of computer literacy – Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint), ERP software (SAP, Power BI and Salesforce experience is advantageous)
    • 6 - 10 years’ related management / supervisory experience in an engineering/manufacturing/mining environment
    • Sales and services administration exposure is advantageous

    Rubber Liner - Kathu

    Purpose of Role: 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high quality rubber lining of tanks, valves, pipes and similar products. The role will require rubber lining according to Weir’s quality standards and contributing to maintaining our standard of quality control in the workshop as well as on client sites.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.  Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites at all times.  Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.
    • Service: Rubber lining of metal work according to Weir’s quality standards. Cutting and assembly of rubber according to the drawing. Assist technicians with carrying out maintenance, repairs, inspections and overhauling on Weir Minerals equipment on customer sites or in the service centre, including assistance with installation and commissioning of pumps and other Weir Minerals products.  General assistance as and when required, including cleaning/prepping of parts, spray painting and sandblasting. Dismantling of pumps and bearing assemblies.  Load and unload trucks and assist with delivery of spares when required.
    • Customer support:  Ability to identify solutions to improve equipment or processes on and off sites

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

    • Grade 12 / N3 Certificate or any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above
    • 2-3 years’ rubber lining on site experience in mining environment
    • 1-2 years’ rubber lining experience in a workshop or rubber related environment
    • Linatex rubber products experience is an advantage
    • Computer literacy
    • Must be physically fit
    • Manual dexterity
    • Clear communication at all levels
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
    • Ability to work in a team and respond to management direction
    • Ability to solve problems in a timely manner
    • Attention to detail

    Technician Assistant - Kathu

    Purpose of Role:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in carrying out repairs and maintenance on Weir equipment on customer sites and in the Service Centre workshop.

    Key Responsibilities:
