    Junior Key Account Manager

    Key Purpose of the role

    • To drive the Discovery value proposition with our SOE stakeholders, through building and maintaining those relationships, superior client servicing, with the ability to increase sales of the Mass Market product offerings through identifying new business opportunities and amplifying existing opportunities

    Key Responsibilities

    Your tasks will typically involve:

    • Increase DHMS and Flexicare product sales.
    • Provide expert technical training at, employer and member level.
    • Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Conduct On site inductions.
    • Implement activations, wellness support initiatives and employer led projects as required.
    • Identify opportunities for sales and marketing initiatives and onsite activations.

    • Relationship Management or Sales Experience (advantageous)

    DC- Insure -Telesales Consultant - Park Square (KZN)

    Key purpose

    • This position is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre, and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Insure telesales.

    Key Outputs

    Marketing Manager

    Key purpose

    To drive strategic client engagement by creating brand and communication solutions that enable business to meet their objectives by:

    • Defining, co-creating with business stakeholders and driving personalised client experience and engagement journeys and campaigns that drive client engagement and improve profitability. 
    • Understanding client data to conceptualise, deliver, manage and continually optimise and iterate journeys and campaigns. Channels may include (but are not limited to) emails, the banking app, welcome calls and WhatsApp.
    • Understanding and using specialised sales tools to deliver projects.
    • Applying best practice marketing and advertising principles, and leveraging key partnerships both internally and externally.
    • Making sure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to:
    Campaign delivery and management

    • Unpacking complex business needs and providing creative solutions considering all stakeholders and best practice principles for communication journeys and campaigns.
    • Directly managing and contributing to the creation and delivery of high-quality communication campaigns and journeys.
    • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including product owners within the Discovery Bank marketing team, senior business people and cross-departmental teams to develop full lifecycle journeys that are relevant and appealing to target audiences, to help achieve company and business unit objectives, including driving profitability.
    • Ensuring each campaign or journey has clear metrics that are aligned to business objectives.
    • Defining, implementing and changing processes as needed.
    • Ensuring that creative solutions are in line with the Discovery marketing model – and consistent across all brands, businesses and communities.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders, both at a strategic and operational level.
    • Managing a budget.

    Campaign analytics

    • Carry out post-campaign analysis to report KPIs and distribute learnings, in collaboration with business stakeholders.
    • Develop and analyse key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting goals and to make recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness.
    • Continuously optimize strategies to drive higher returns including A/B and multivariate testing.
    • Prepare and disseminate regular reporting.
    • Stay on top of industry and international best practice and apply learnings internally.

    Competencies

    • Experience in relevant field with tools, email campaign building, and list selection (Salesforce, HTML and WhatsApp experience would be an advantage)
    • Ability to troubleshoot coding or template problems

    • Postgraduate qualification in marketing is preferable

    Experience

    • Minimum of eight years’ experience in advertising, marketing or communication (content marketing, digital marketing/campaign management, product sales, advertising and client engagement would be advantageous).
    • Minimum of three years in a management position.
    • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.

    Marketing Consultant

    Key Purpose

    • To support the Discovery Health and Discovery Health Medical Scheme Marketing team in the implementation of brand and communication strategy and benefit campaigns to multiple stakeholders. Brief agency partners on marketing campaigns and support the Discovery Health business on project deliverables related to member benefits and healthcare professional communications.

    Areas of responsibility

    • Take end-to-end accountability and responsibility for assigned marketing campaigns and associated deliverables

    Team Leader Finance

    Key purpose

    • To review and process journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts. To conduct other adhoc financial reporting analysis and related tasks. To lead and support a team.

    Key Outputs

    • To review and post journals to record all entries in the GL.
    • To review B/S accounts to ensure completeness validity and accuracy of Management Account.
    • To prepare and present management accounts.
    • To provide variance explanations on the management accounts.
