PURPOSE OF POSITION:

• Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
• Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
• Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
• Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.
• Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching and performance.
• Standards - maintain general health, safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 
• Proficient in English. 
• Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.
• Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
• Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).

• To be a servant leader, promoting sales, reducing stock losses, managing stock, leading and growing a team of Dynamos, and to maintain a low-cost culture in order to meet business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Increase sales by focusing on exceptional customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, presentation and promotion of stock, stock management, promotional implementation, and correct pricing of products according to our price image guidelines within the area.
• Stock loss is minimized by having a healthy culture and following security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures within the area.
• Manage a low-cost business according to the company's low-cost culture by driving efficiencies in the area.
• Ensure administrative duties within the stores are done on time, every time according to the company guidelines. Together with overseeing your own area admin as required. 
• Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching, and performance within a Sikhula KunYe company culture. 
• People Management by overseeing all aspects of the areas’ people support function.  

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12. 
• Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail-related field would be an advantage.
• Ideally, 3-5 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership/managerial role.
• Computer Literate. (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).
• Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license with a willingness to travel extensively.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Do you love everything about Homewear? We are looking for a creative to work alongside the Home team to develop prints and graphics for all our homewear items.  This is across the home division (bedding, curtaining, pillow cases etc to dinnerware, novelty and decor).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digital Design – Creating digital artworks across graphics and textile prints
• Work alongside Trend Analyst and Buyer to design cohesive collections for the season
• Administrative tasks and Ad hoc projects

Requirements
JOB  INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/Diploma in Textile, Graphic or Fashion design
• 2-3 years practical exposure to designing within the retail environment (clothing/home)
• PC literacy – Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Print techniques understanding
• Creative
• Learning orientation
• Planning and organisation skills
• Priority setting
• Project Completion to deadlines
• Knowledge of home product design will be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask across different portfolios
