    Junior Key Account Manager - P2

    The Role

    • Managing strategically important Customers, the Junior Key Account Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and growing key customer accounts through an effective account management process incorporating the customers’ strategic requirements with value propositions from Sandvik.  Travel to key customer sites will be necessary, up to 50% of the time.
    • The role is equal parts managing our relationship in order to grow our overall market share, increase share of wallet, and drive customer loyalty, and managing information flow to and from our internal stakeholders to align the customer approach and understanding.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and manage a detailed Account Business Plan for each account, which sets out the future business growth of the account by aligning the organizations to co-create long term value within the relationship.
    • Develop relationships within both internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective engagement across all levels to ensure that identified value is captured.
    • Ensure that the value delivered by all the Sandvik offering is understood by the relevant customer stakeholders at all levels as it applies to them.
    • Measure the performance of the customer account against the expectations of the plan and adjust wherever necessary through effective and decisive action.

    Your Profile:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Formal qualification in business, mining and/or engineering
    • English language proficiency
    • Basic Computer Literacy
    • Mine Overseer certificate of competence will be advantageous
    • Knowledge of Sandvik products and/or services and their applications will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of the Salesforce CRM system will be advantageous
    • A valid driver’s license
    • High sense of identifying and delivering value.
    • Goal-driven and have a track record of achieving those great results through teamwork and collaboration.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A keen interest in business development and business-to-business selling.
    • Willingness to work systematically towards developing and achieving a long-term strategic goal.
    • A high level of initiative, drive, and determination to achieve exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Physical and medical ability to work in a mining environment

    Project Technician - S3

    The Role:

    • To get customer satisfaction by installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning service, considering economical and other aspects. Problem solving by using of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in different kinds of situations. Knowledge of the tasks, tools and procedures associated with providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Pre delivery inspections to ensure machine complies to OEM standards as well as order on works requirements
    • Machine testing
    • On-site commissioning of Machines which includes:
    • Customer training on use of electronic and paper manuals
    • Hand over of commissioning data pack
    • Monitoring of machine over an appropriate period to ensure that it performs to OEM and   customer expectations
    • Commissioning report for Account Manager and Customer (Site Conditions, Asset Performance, Site Production/Maintenance Risks)
    • Develop Smart Services
    • Provide on-site technical assistance to resolve issues during commissioning
    • Process warranty claims in the event of any failure that occurs during PDI or Commissioning
    • Ensure that machine delivers to OEM specified production standards
    • Routine review of information packs that are supplied as part of commissioning to ensure they are technically appropriate
    • Assist workshops/field service/Asset Agreement during times of low work load in commissioning team
    • Machine Audits

    Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • Trade Certificate of Competence -  Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright,accompanied with proof of apprenticeship
    • 4 years experience with Mechanised Mining Equipment
    • Underground mining environment, maintaining of earth moving equipment
    • Valid drivers license
    • Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment
