• Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) would be advantageous.
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or related roles.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing IT infrastructure and teams.

Description

• Assist with routine analysis of microbiological nature.
• Prepare agars, reagents and chemicals used for routine analysis.
• Clean utensils and glassware used for routine analytical determination.
• Correctly apply techniques within specified guidelines.
• Timeously complete technical tasks according to set quality and accreditation standards.
• Efficiently plan and schedule analytical service in accordance with given instructions.
• Cost-effective stock control according to regulation.
• Timeous reporting of malfunctioning of equipment.
• Maintain and ensure that equipment is in working order and in compliance with applicable quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining the accreditation status, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 of the laboratory.
• Maintaining an Occupational and Health, Safety laboratory according to Good Laboratory Practice.
• Assist with sample reception and monthly mixing of calibration standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean laboratory in general.

Requirements

• Senior Certificate/Grade 12 with 5 years relevant experience or Grade 10 with 10 years relevant experience or 20 years relevant experience.
• Experience in ISO 17025 and working in an accredited laboratory, will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Skilled to work as part of the team as well as independently.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
• Skilled to work as part of the team as well as independently.
• In possession of a valid SA driver’s license.
