Job Description

• Solar Field Supervisor for Redstone CSP Plant in Northern Cape, South Africa, will ensure that all solar field maintenance is accomplished in accordance with authorized plans, procedures, schedules and budgets, as well as take care of the field operation related activities of the solar field.

Who will fit:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance of a power plant; at least 2 years should have been in the capacity of solar fields.
• National Diploma/Bachelors of Technology Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering at NQF level 6 or higher is preferred
• South African national is preferred

• Instrument and Control Supervisor for Bokpoort CSP Plant in Northern Cape, South Africa, will supervise the day-to-day Instrumentation and Control activities in the shift, including preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outage and overhauling work activities for all instrumentation and control systems in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure effective functionality, plant availability and system reliability.

Who will fit:

• 7-10 years’ experience in Instrument and Control maintenance such as installation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation and control systems and equipment in a plant environment.
• Minimum of Diploma in Instrument Engineering.
• Detailed knowledge of I&C
• South African national is preferred

• Mechanical Supervisor for Bokpoort CSP Plant in Northern Cape, South Africa, will supervise the day-to-day mechanical activities in the shift, including preventive and corrective maintenance, planned outage and overhauling work activities for all machineries in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure effective functionality, plant availability and system reliability.

Who will fit:

• Instrument and Control Engineer for Bokpoort Concentrated Solar Power Plant in Northern Cape, South Africa, who will supervise and manage the instrumentation and control maintenance activities in the plant, including all preventive and corrective maintenance, systems engineering design, planned outage and overhauling work activities for all instrumentation and control systems in accordance with overall maintenance plans, HSE guidelines and quality standards to ensure plant availability and system reliability.

Who will fit:

• 7-10 years’ experience in I&C Maintenance activities of power plants preferably in CSP Technology where 2 years of experience are in a supervisory role
• Bachelors of Technology in Engineering
• Detailed understanding of preventive, and predictive maintenance theory
• South African Nationals are preferred

Role:

Location: Bokpoort CSP Plant

Skills

• A Bachelor degree holder in Engineering.
• 8 years’ experience in water desalination and power generation plants with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Skills:

• Knowledge of relevant plant equipment
• SAP working knowledge is preferred
• New IMS system awareness/working knowledge is preferred
• Project Management
• Mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Knowledge of the operations in water desalination and power generation plants and of NOMAC operations
• Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills
• Team work and effective collaboration skills
