Duties:
- Providing high-level academic support, homework supervision and revision for all three boys, with a strong focus on ensuring the eldest child excels academically, understands his schoolwork and is well prepared for tests and projects.
- The Grade 2 going into Grade 3 child should be supported in building a solid academic foundation, particularly in Mathematics, while the Grade 1 child will also require age-appropriate academic assistance.
- The au pair must be able to manage the boys’ academic workload, ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and maintain high academic standards. The Grade 2 going into Grade 3 child has ADHD and may require additional time, patience and individual attention with his schoolwork.
Special Requirements:
- The family is looking for a confident, firm and organised candidate with strong academic ability, particularly in Mathematics, and the ability to assist with primary and senior primary schoolwork to a high standard.
- Previous tutoring experience is essential/preferred. The ideal candidate should be patient, reliable and able to manage three strong-willed boys while maintaining a positive relationship with them.
- A strong personality and high academic standards are important. The family would prefer a Christian candidate, ideally over the age of 25, with a safe and reliable vehicle. A candidate without exam commitments or study leave requirements would be preferred.
