    Maintenance Manager (Farm Services) - Ramatlabama

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Familiarity with a job card system
    • Ability to manage a team larger than 20 employees, over various departments simultaneously.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
    • Driver’s license & own transport.
    • Grade 12
    • Electrical qualifications (additional Mechanical background/qualifications would be beneficial)
    • Experience within poultry industry would be beneficial.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a manager in a similar environment would be beneficial

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Responsible for all plumbing, ground maintenance, vehicle checks, electrical fault finding, cleaning & disinfecting as well as managing a team of drivers.
    • Plan, delegate and coordinate service-related procedures and systems and develop ways to streamline processes.
    • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
    • Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
    • Manage schedules and deadlines.
    • Monitor inventory and plan purchasing of new materials/supplies/parts with attention to budgetary constraints
    • Monitor costs and expenses of the services department to assist in budget preparation.
    • Ensure that all site preparation duties carried out is up to expected standards.
    • Ensure that all bio-security protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to.
    • Daily review of all job cards/inspection as well as following up on tasks that are not completed.
    • Weekly reporting to the Operations Manager
    • Compliance with Health & Safety standards and work together with SHE Officer
    • General administrative duties within the maintenance/services department
    • Candidate should be willing to work flexible hours as well as weekends that are scheduled/standby duties.
    • Attend to HR/IR matter i.e. – leave planning, time sheets, instituting discipline, etc.

    Job Advert Summary    

    The Microsoft Ecosystem Administrator will support the goals of the Information Systems Manager by assisting in the support of the Microsoft solutions used within the CBH group of companies, with a primary focus on the Microsoft 365 tenant and Microsoft applications. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting solutions that relate to the Microsoft investment with the CBH group of companies including Microsoft 365 subscriptions and services, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Windows, and various other Microsoft technologies.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
    • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology.
    • Experience working in an ICT team.
    • Understanding and experience of an ICT systems support model.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 components, including but not limited to: Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 tenant, SharePoint Online, Hosted Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Power Platform applications.
    • Experience of ICT service management processes.
    • Experience in service ownership.
    • MCSA, MCSE or similar.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Conducting and monitoring the daily maintenance of the Microsoft Ecosystem of products, including monitoring licensing and functionality to guarantee the availability of software on the computer network.
    • Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving Microsoft Ecosystem errors and queries.
    • Support the development and deployment of Microsoft configuration policies for end point devices to optimise network and system services using Microsoft Intune management to ensure the readiness of systems across the variety of operating systems.

    IT Business Application Support Engineer

    Service Desk Operator (ICT)

    Job Advert Summary    

    The ICT Service Desk Operator has the responsibility of being the first point of contact for users who log tickets with the CBH ICT service desk. The Service Desk Operator must always provide the highest level of customer service and resolve all tickets in a professional and timeous manner.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Required Tertiary Education: A+ will be an advantage.
    • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
    • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
    • Hands-on experience with Windows environments.
    • Solid problem-solving and multitasking skills.
    • Customer-oriented attitude.
    • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
    • Team player but must also be able to work independently using own initiative.
    • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
    • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Always provide the highest level of customer service.
    • Monitor and respond to all tickets logged on the CBH electronic ticketing system.
    • Use a knowledge-based tool along with expertise to resolve tier 1 requests in a timely manner.
    • Escalate unresolved incidents / requests / problems to the proper tier 2 and 3 support team.
    • Troubleshoot basic end user issues on various software applications, hardware, network and telecommunications systems, including the mobile phone management and various other day to day systems.
    • Follow standard Service Desk operating procedures.
    • Assist in the upkeep and administration of the various ICT management systems, such as the mobile device spend management platform, the ICT asset tracking system, the ICT service desk tickets as well as the APN device management and registration.
    • Assisting in the maintenance of the Active Directory, including group memberships and user details.
    • Provide basic support to users in relation to everyday issues such as password resets, unlocking mobile phone accounts, increasing APN limits and other support functions as requested from time to time.
    • Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training manuals.
    • Provide basic user training, support, advice, and feedback.
