    Clerk: Admin - Boksburg

    Job Purpose

    • Ensure stock received from trade is good to be returned into the system - capturing on Pride and WMOS.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Capture all GRA's / returns on Pride and WMOS.
    • Investigate all stock not allocated, return labels in the returns cage and follow-up.
    • Sign relevant documentation with regard to consignment (returns note, XPS waybills etc.).
    • Blind tally all stock received and ensure all credits are processed correctly.
    • Follow-up on returns documentation.
    • POD processing.
    • Validate all POD's and check for clear signatures and store stamps.
    • Validate stock returned against POD received.
    • All processing must occur within 24 hours.
    • Match any supporting documents related to the POD / invoice as cross reference.
    • Follow-up internally on outstanding HEAT Log and returns not processed.
    • Correct validating and capturing of batch numbers.
    • If operationally required assist where needed within the operation.
    • Always wear the company uniform with pride, ensuring that the uniform is clean and presentable
    • Timeous and accurate completion of tasks
    • Provide support on customer queries
    • Ensure timely incident handling and reporting
    • Observe, maintain and follow warehouse health and safety and security policies and procedures
    • Active participating in stock counts, i.e. Planning, Preparation and physical counting of stock
    • Ensure that all work areas are kept neat and tidy

    IP Operations Controller - Johannesburg

    In this IP Operations Controller position

    • You will accept all orders estimate as assigned by the Operations Manager.
    • You will open shipment file and create and confirm transport order.
    • You will perform booking and booking optimization.
    • You will prepare, control, and distribute all required documents and reports.

    • You will be responsible for identifying performance issues of suppliers and propose solutions to improve/correct performance.

    • You will proactively inform customer on shipment status, exceptions and provides intermediate updates on incident solution.
    • You will take accountability and effectively handles customer inquiries.
    • You will ensure effective tracking of cargo and submission of status reports.
    • You will ensure cost control and managing file/project profitability.
    • You will prepare sales invoices and acquittal packs.
    • You will review, approve and load supplier invoices for payment and register all customer complaints.
    • You will drive solution of customer complaints and act as first contact point for customer claims.
    • You will collaborate closely with other DGF departments for smooth handling of shipments and continuous updates.
    • You will ensure that the required documents are uploaded into E-docs and that each file is up to date before closing.
    • You will attend meetings, travel to site if required and ensure KPIs are met.

    Now, here’s what we need from you

    • At least 5 years’ experience in freight.
    • Must have Matric
    • Good communications skills
    • Outstanding Customer/Supplier relationship skills
    • Fluent in English and Afrikaans

    Ocean Freight Export Controller - Cape Town

    In this Ocean Freight Export Controller position

    • You will arrange booking based on customer requirements with various nominated third parties to ensure customer needs are met.

    • You will send SOB/Pre alert to customer/destination offices.
    • You will invoice shipment based on estimate or rate agreements and supply estimates on customer request.
    • You will produce thorough and accurate documentation ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance to regulations.
    • You will participate within the department with regards to industry or regulation changes.

    Now, here’s what we need from you

    • 3 -5 years’ experience in an equivalent role or similar
    • Must have a matric
    • Tertiary Education including diploma is an advantage
    • Regulations knowledge – SARS, road transport
    • Cargowise experience
    • Good communication skills both written and spoken
