    Sales Manager & Shipping Co - Ordinator

    Job Summary 

    • Sales Manager & Shipping Co – Ordinator required for well-established Furniture Relocation and Transport Company for a Branch located in Gauteng. Must be a self-motivated individual who operates well under pressure and is willing to get things done. 

    Minimum job requirements:

    • Grade 12 with mathematics or relevant tertiary qualification.
    • Valid driver's licence (minimum code 8)
    • Strong communicator.
    • Previous Operations, Sales, and Customer service experience.
    • PC literacy.
    • A geographical background and an understanding of relocations within the region.
    • Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes.

    Key Functions:

    • Liaise with export clients on all matters relating to relocation.
    • Prepare export documentation to present to the clearing agent.
    • Co-ordinate customs clearance procedures and shipments.
    • Calculate quotations for outbound shipments including quote follow ups.
    • Schedule bookings for shipment packing, collection, and shipments.
    • Liaise with shipping lines. Liaise with agents regarding packing and shipping documents.
    • Assist with inbound shipment enquiries and quotations.
    • General office administration tasks, when required.
    • Sales – CRM system.
    • Sales – surveys – volume and packing requirements and discussion with clients regarding documentation requirements.
    • Internal as well as external Sales viewing + costing.
    • Customer service and correspondence.
    • Weekly follow ups.
    • Opening and updating files for secured moves.
    • Attend job visits.
    • Completion of tender requests.
    • Marketing calls.
    • International operations.
    • Accruals and tonnage reports.

    Occupational Therapist

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct client assessments, writing of medico-legal reports.
    • Court appearance should you be summoned to court.
    • Travel to locations when required.
    • Work together with other Medico-legal experts.
    • Be able to work independently and efficiently.

     
    Requirements :

    • Degree in Occupational Therapy

    Technical Configuration Controller

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    • Working closely with the following departments:
    • Engineering, Procurement, Production & Product Support.
    • Coordinating all Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s) Production Problem Reports (PPR’s) between the Departments as well as maintaining all the baselines.
    • Managing data between PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (Syspro) Maintain released data from PLM to ERP.
    • Maintaining / Correcting all Jobs in Syspro after ECP release. Assist Procurement on orders (Cancellation or new orders)

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12.
    • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (NDip)
    • Computer Literate (Windows & Excell)
    • CAD knowledge (no need to be user)

    EXPERIENCE:
    5 years plus relevant experience in the manufacturing industry in the following:

    • Engineering BOM’s.
    • Technical Drawings (Engineering Data Pack)
    • Manufacturing BOM’s
    • Problem Reports
    • Engineering Change Proposals
    • Understands PLM systems (Preferably Teamcenter) Experience in Configuration management

    Internal Orders / Sales Consultant

     Desired Experience & Qualifications: 

    • Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
    • A relevant tertiary qualification and / or a relevant qualification in concrete technology will be an advantage.
    • Experience in customer liaison and sales / administration or an orders and scheduling environment.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Pricing of products offered by the company to customers.
    • Accurately preparing sales quotes for customers.
    • Pricing of tenders with assistance from technical staff, where required.
    • Taking of orders for concrete and pumps and scheduling thereof on computer for on-time delivery.
    • Administering payment from cash customers prior to delivery of product.
    • Correct allocation of zones for accurate payment of transporters.
    • Ensuring all orders are available daily in advance for loading at the Concrete Batch Plants.
    • Ensuring correct utilization of truck mixers through optimal scheduling of orders.
    • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and Concrete Batch Plant Operators.
    • Addressing and resolving customer queries and problems.
    • Sales administration: following up on quotes and tenders daily with both sales staff and customers / general marketplace.
    • Placing of cement orders for Concrete Batch Plants and communicating delivery times to plant staff.

    PERSONAL / TECHNICAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
    • Sound interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
    • Sound written and verbal communication skills (English)
    • Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Ability and willingness to work irregular and extended hours.
