    Graduate Opportunity - Financial Wellness Consultant.

    Our team is currently seeking to fill the Negotiations Consultant role(s).  Negotiations are a critical step in the debt review process, where we negotiate with credit providers to improve the financial position of our clients. The Negotiations consultant role requires highly energetic individual(s) who will interact frequently with both credit providers and clients. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team environment and must be highly motivated, customer-focused and analytical. The candidate is expected to know all the in-house software programs; and be efficient in administration and query resolution. Other necessary training (e.g. legal documents) will be provided as required.

    Key responsibilities:

    •   Providing the best financial position for our clients by:
    •  Successfully negotiating with credit providers on all Debt Counselling accounts.
    • Providing solutions and advice to clients’ financial problems, specifically with regard to assets and accounts not eligible for Debt Counselling.
    • Efficiently managing the life cycle of the client from when you accept the client in your pipeline through to assigning the client to legal.
    •   Providing the client with financial protection on their debt with the help of Credit Insurance.
    • Providing the client with financial security on their income and household expenses with the help of Life Cover Insurance.
    •     Ensuring time from Accepted to Assigned to legal is within standard company and industry SLA's

    Act as an intermediary between credit providers and clients
        •   Delivering high client satisfaction to all stakeholders by:

    •    Ensuring the client experience is of highest quality whilst the client is with you.
    •     Supporting both client and credit provider throughout the negotiations process.
    •      Establishing, building and maintaining effective relationships with credit providers and internal stakeholders.
    •       Ensuring work done is done with precision and high quality.
    •        Effectively manage workload.

    Financial Services Manager - Cape Town

    The Financial Services division of Intelligent Debt Management (IDM), a Financial Services group based in Cape Town, seeks a young professional to join the Financial Services Team. The role of the successful candidate will be as a Manager within the Financial Services Team and will report directly to the Head of Financial Services. The candidate will work together with a close team of Financial Services specialists. The candidate, with good EQ, must be a good communicator and team player who can coordinate, manage, influence, and motivate within the team and the Group as a whole.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, deploy, and distribute Financial Services products (including LT & ST insurance products and Rewards products) across the Group, Platforms and partners in a data-driven, omnichannel distribution environment in a digital-first manner,
    • Manage, implement, and execute projects and processes, in line with Strategic objectives, across the Group,
    • Tracking and monitoring the Financial Services businesses,
    • Preparation and review of various reports and presentations,
    • Assist with Exco, Board and other reporting,
    • Recruit, manage, motivate and reward your team within the division.
    • Report to the Head of Financial Services regarding the management and coordination of the following activities in the division, in conjunction with managers and consultants providing various services:
    • Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Actuarial, Internal controls, Internal Financial Controls, Cell captive activities, Regulatory and Legislative matters etc
    • The incumbent will work closely with the other members of the Financial Services Team, the DebtBusters Team, ExCom, external consultants, and various internal and external service providers (eg. Finance, IT, HR, Marketing etc.)
    • Strong interpersonal and reporting writing skills.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Post Graduate - Bachelor of Business Science, or
    • B. Comm, Honours, or
    • Post Graduate – Actuarial Science

    Experience:

    • At least 2 years of Business experience

    PBX Technician - Cape Town

    The IDM Group is looking for a PBX Technician whose primary responsibility for this position is to provide system-level support of multi-user applications, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of IDM’s call systems. Identify alternatives for optimizing of Call processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and evaluate call routing and flow.
    • Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade of Call system.
    • Prepare detailed documentation outlining systems capabilities and processes.
    • Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between other systems and the PBX.
    • Understanding of VOIP systems.
    • Write and maintain system documentation.
    • Experience with SIP management and PBX.
    • Document call system problems and resolutions for knowledge management.
    • Responsible for logging and tracking of errors/enhancements to Vendors.
    • Analysis, escalation and follow up of technical incidents.
    • Interacting extensively within departments.
    • Manage and maintain security of system at all levels business units, security roles, access etc.
    • Work with the IT OPS and Development teams to optimize maintenance and administrative processes

     Skills and experience required:

    • Above average communication skills (written & verbal).
