    Manager, Data Management Services

    Job Purpose

    As the Manager of Data Management Services, you will be responsible for driving team metrics including utilization, revenue, project management, along with client satisfaction and delivery efficiency.  This person will provide leadership, mentoring, and training to employees, while handling the distribution of work and ensuring projects are completed and implementations are successful according to project plans.  Being a resource for escalations, participating in client groups, as well as cross-departmental communication will be other key functions in this role.

    • Accurate and timely collection, data processing, and reviewing of financial source documents for clients (Interims, Audits, Tax Returns, Budgets, Rent Rolls, etc.)
    • Prompt and frequent communication with team and clients
    • Solutions for unique situations and client escalations
    • Embed client-centricity; deliver customer service at or above client & stakeholder expectations
    • Filter team questions to appropriate resources, supporting core processes and enabling functions
    • Assist with special projects, Innovation Day, operating mechanisms, and other department initiatives
    • Supervise team members attendance, PTO, and payroll using Workday
    • Foster an inclusive, positive work environment; organize team building events and meetings
    • Build strong teams - attracting, developing, and retaining top performers
    • Develop high performance teams by diagnosing, understanding, and facilitating team dynamics

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • 5+ years of managerial experience leading and building high-performing teams
    • Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or equivalent experience
    • Comprehensive knowledge of industry specific market segments, associated business rules, standard operating procedures, and process best practices
    • Inclusive knowledge of Software implementations
    • Extensive understanding of functionality and operating procedures within the company’s software products and tools
    • Demonstrates understanding and utilization of real estate industry and consulting best practices
    • Project Management Methodology experience
    • Experience creating an environment that empowers others to give their best, take risks, and unlock value
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Ability to work efficiently with a hybrid work schedule (average 2 days/week in-office requirement)
    • Travel up to 10%

    Accounting Data Management Analyst

    MRI Software is looking for an entry-level Data Management Analyst to join our team focused on our Investment Suite. This role will focus on and provide administrative support for clients’ use of MRI's in-house software applications. Team members will collect data and documents from various sources and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financials and provide ongoing client training. The company will rely on these individuals to assist clients, meet their needs, and deliver a consistent, professional experience.

    Accounts Receivable Coordinator

    Position Overview:

    • MRI Software is seeking a Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for an ambitious employee whose primary function will be assigning account tickets to our Accounts Receivable Analyst team. It is vital that the Accounts Receivable Coordinator builds and maintains a close relationship with all internal stakeholders, to ensure smooth running of accounts and encourage timely recovery of payments. 

    SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • 2-5 years of proven full credit control function or related experience.
    • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

    Accounts Receivable Team Lead

    The Accounts Receivable Team Lead will oversee various functions of the Accounts Receivable department.  This person will guide a team of AR Coordinators in leading the ticketing process, using existing processes and procedures, while also having the ability to introduce new and innovative processes that increase accuracy and efficiency.  They will help manage the process of writing off delinquent accounts according to company standards.  This lead will  work on various projects related to acquisitions, day-to-day activities, as well as other assignments managed by the finance department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a team of AR Coordinators, responsible for assigning and controlling of ticketing process in an effort to secure balance of debt owed to MRI Software
    • Act as administrator for collection software used to track client contact and automate certain functions of the collection process
    • Lead regular meetings with Senior Leadership to discuss client issues as they relate to account delinquency
    • Work closely with the Legal department to understand client contracts and obligations, as well as MRI’s process for joint Finance and Legal collection efforts
    • Work closely with Sales Managers and Executives to understand and pursue client balances
    • Assist accounting team with review and recommendations for Bad Debt Reserve calculation
    • Work to continually improve Key Performance Indicators such as DSO
    • Assist with various month end close processes including month over month revenue analysis
    • Research and resolve client disputes and escalate issues to the right internal contacts/departments.
    • Make recommendations to implement improved processes and procedures.
    • Perform other duties and participate in other projects as assigned by management, including cross training within the department.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • 5+ years of managing a large Accounts Receivable team
    • 5+ years of experience with performance managing and developing employees
    • Strong ability to resolve client discrepancies and knowledge of billing systems.
    • Experience working with MS Excel and Word
    • Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
    • Good communication skills and ability to work well individually or as a member of a team
    • Attention to detail and ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task
    • Shows strong initiative, problem analysis and problem-solving skills

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant tertiary degree

    Fee Accountant

    Position Overview:

    • MRI Software is seeking a Fee Accountant to join our team that focuses on providing accounting services for our clients in public and affordable housing organizations! This individual will review, create, and complete accurate and timely monthly financial statements and other fee accounting services for clients of Lindsey Software, An MRI Software Company.

    Responsibilities:  

    • Performs monthly and annual bookkeeping duties as assigned
    • Analyses balance sheet and income statement for unusual activity and report to client as needed
    • Analyses accounting records of financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformity with Lindsey fee accounting standards
    • Reviews coding of vendor payments
    • Posts receipts or vendor payments as needed
    • Reconciles bank statements
    • Maintains an open line of communication with clients at all times

    Requirements:

    • Experience leading a team preferred
    • Ability to work under deadlines
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management through written and/or verbal communication
    • Ability to work independently
    • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
    • A high degree of dependability, motivation, and flexibility
    • Proficiency in relevant accounting software
    • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent related accounting experience preferred

    Accounting Assistant

    Position Overview:

    • MRI Software is searching for an Accounting Assistant that will work with a property accountant on our PMX accounting services team. The Accounting Assistant will perform bank reconciliations, post journal entries, enter A/P transactions, post tenant receipts and other tasks as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Accounting certificate from university required
    • Bookkeeping experience preferred
    • Experience using MRI Software a plus
    • The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively through oral or written communication
    • Must be able to work independently and under deadlines
    • Good organizational skill and ability to manage priorities required
