Role purpose:
The Specialist Continuous Improvement will report into the Principal Specialist Continuous Improvement and will be responsible for the facilitation of continuous improvement workshops to ensure that effective CI frameworks and tools are applied to achieve the required benefits.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysis
- Analyse operational performance data and identify problems in early stages
- Develop problem charter for CI Initiatives
- Detail data analysis to determine root cause of business problem
- End-to-end business process design
- Document findings and recommendations
- Compile business cases for CI initiatives
- Post-implementation reviews on CI initiatives
Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Facilitate CI workshops with cross-functional teams using CI tools and techniques

Role Purpose
To analyse network performance, do site planning and optimisation
Your responsibilities will include
- Ensure optimal performance on network quality by monitoring the network statistics through the relevant tools and implementing determined corrective action
- Pro-actively analyse and recommend capacity dimensioning requirements on all network elements
- Pro-actively analyse and verify in-depth network problems by performing relevant traces

Role purpose:
The Specialist: Margin Accounting is responsible for: Mobile Customer Revenue and IFRS accounting and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial month-end processes relating to Margin Accounting for Mobile Customer Revenue including:
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Preparation of SAP data to be loaded into the Hyperion Financial Reporting tool (HFM)
- Preparation of required disclosure schedules for Unbilled Revenue.
- Prepare prepaid deferral days analysis and send it to the Financial Management & Planning Analysis Team
- Keeping abreast of the latest standards and ensuring alignment to the governance, SOX controls and accounting standards are adhered to.
- Proficiency in the accounting standards and liaison with the Finops IFRS team and internal audit when necessary.
- Perform trend analysis on pre-bill run inceptions and exclusions for the current month.
- Preparation of accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations in line with Vodafone requirements for accounts under your control and ensuring timeous clearance of reconciling and aged items.
- Fulfillment of finance operational tasks including:
- Insurance Invoices for Mutual & Federal and Centriq are coded and submitted to the Shared Service Centre for timeous processing
- Running of IFRS15 reports to support clearing of error buckets as well as month-end close reporting
- Ad-hoc resolution of queries and issues from internal and external customers including internal and external auditors
- Review finance processes and identify gaps, documenting and implementing processes and changes where necessary
- Support Vodacom Business Partners with new projects or improvements to be implemented

Role Purpose
To perform Application Operations function for the Vodacom Business IT Applications.

- Manage and consolidate Publicity inputs for all the forecast cycles
- Assure synchronization of the segment’s functional plans whilst maintaining the accurate phasing of the publicity budget to be in line with campaign rollouts
