Job Description
Main Purpose of Job

• As a Junior Consultant, you will support the Engagement team in delivering services to / at client premises on delegated projects. Your key focus will be on the delivery of client engagements, understand how daily tasks contributes to the priorities of the business and understand the firm’s purpose & values and explores opportunities for impact.

Technical Competencies:

•    Basic technical knowledge in topical legislation and regulation, particularly in the financial services or TMT space
•    Proficient in MS Office suite
•    Elementary business acumen
•    Knowledge of traditional and automated research techniques such as Lexis Nexus, and other Electronic Legal Research tools.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• 4 year legal degree or 2 year post graduate legal degree.
• Desired Qualifications
• LLB Degree

Minimum Experience

• At least 4 years’ POST ARTICLES work experience.
• At least 3 years’ consulting experience.
• Desired Experience
• 3 years’ consulting experience which must include at least 1 years’ regulatory interpretation and policy drafting experience.
• Regulatory research across African jurisdictions.
• Regulatory research in respect of digital and technology implementation projects
• Data protection and management experience advantageous
